Let's start at the beginning.

1. You have Kodi installed and it's at least version 14 as per first screenshot.
2. You have installed CCM-Helix from Hybrid Repo (Not SuperRepo etc.) and should be updated to v3.0.6 as per 2nd screenshot

Above post brings up another query - RE: Black Backgrounds, In the 2nd screenshot it looks like a black background, but it's not - you can see the black grill from the default background of "grey" between the 2 panels. I know on my projector that's hard to spot, so when posting about black backgrounds can you guys please check with the default blue bubble theme. Thanks

My background still fade to black when I enter Videos/files and my TV shows in 3.0.6

When I enter my Tv shows through Videoes/Files I have this problem from post# 407 with black backgrounds

Okay if you use the menu item for TVShows do you get the number of episode on the right?

If not - I still say your TVShows are not scanned to your library properly and therefore no fanart.

Challenge for you Guys - I think we need a CCM icon and new logo, as this is not Confluence but a Confluence MOD. So any good pixel pushers out there

Separate note - I know the concept is to stay as true to Confluence as possible, which will keep all the Confluence guys who want a bit more happy, but in other ways I think that idea will hold this MOD back.

One change I propose is original CCM default background instead of Blue Bubbles - What do you guys think ?

Why not change to the CCM default but stick the Blue Bubbles .jpg in the backgrounds folder for people who want it?

That's possible, but they'd have to manually select it as a background image. Still would like to know how many users actually like the background as I've seen a lot of posts throughout this forum complaining about it

"Fanart Background of Playing Media" enabled
and
"Music Visualization on Home Screen" enabled

"Artist Slideshow" script disabled

Any ideas?

I couldn't answer that as I have selected the option to replace the backgrounds on most of the screens. I tend to use the ones bundles with the "Amber" skin.

Remember when I posted about the "issue" I had with the files and library action of the submenu to the "Videos" on the home bar...? Well I posted a general question about this in the support section but can you remember both the "Files" and "Library" option always showing the same results when selected and not wha0t I remembered, pressing "Files" would show the storage areas that you have selected for the library to scan...?

The new setting "Music Visualization on Home Screen" is the one that should allow it, try toggling it a few times also try with it off and also try with different visualisations to see if they work and get back to me with who does and doesn't work.

I don't have project on the laptop, but can try tonight with my main system

That screenshot is exactly the reason I always use Files mode for browsing my TV and Movies. I spent ages, and still do, naming EVERY episode and movie to how *I* want it, ie: "TVShow S01E01 - Pilot", but when I use the library it renames it to "1x01 - Pilot" or somesuch. Same with movies, I want the damned year in the Title, as the .mkv/.avi/folder is named, not truncated!

Drives me absolutely nuts, anyway to have it disabled, or a means to toggle? Pretty Please?

+1 for updating the stock Confluence Bubbles default to something new, looks very, very dated IMO.

Try a folder.jpg in every directory. If not work let me know. Replying from phone = difficult

I couldn't answer that as I have selected the option to replace the backgrounds on most of the screens. I tend to use the ones bundles with the "Amber" skin.

Not sure I understand, just a txt file named folder.jpg, or an actual folder scanned jpg? How would that effect the file naming convention from a library view? You have me intrigued with this one!

Leave this till later though, I have no wish to frustrate you trying to help on a phone, just the most impossible of tasks!
