Do you have anything collected or watched with a year outside of 1970 to 2038?

hey @Piers, i mentioned my thoughts on the skin back when you first did it, i was there supporting you in old thread and on github but when i saw it all together on the big screen, with my current skin and configuration it just didnt fit, i really appreciate your work and felt kinda bad so i only mentioned it that one time, wanted to wait for things to calm down, figured it wouldnt be long before this got attention, thx

anyway, when i first mentioned it in old thread i asked if it might be possible to add an option to choose between old dialogues and the new ones you created, it wasnt feasible at the time and not sure it will ever be but to get things started i would prefer to see something like the old dialogues, at one time the old dialogues were modified to include the updated logo but pretty sure that was the only change, that would be a great starting point

i would prefer to see the original red on black color scheme (like the trakt.tv website), i also preferred the more compact windows, i was actually toying with the idea of doing it myself or perhaps approaching mudislander or another experienced skinner but since youve offered there is no need, i would prefer to see you continue work as part of the original team, having been there from the start (this time anyway )

so all those words to say id like to take you up on your offer and ill help any way i can, here or on github, i can do basic graphics but no more, appreciate your thoughts on the matter

Well I feel like this should be handled by your skin(er) , as you mentioned it not fitting your skin.
It's pretty easy for them to overwrite it.

If all else fails it feels like a dark version of the new dialog should be enough.

thats all ive said all along, a dark theme like the original, i had every intention of doing myself or talking to a skinner but since @Piers offered i took him up on it, its probably more about the color scheme than the actual skin, ive seen a couple other posts along the same lines, im not a skinner so i really dont know whats involved but im not sure they would consider this part of their realm either, im not sure what if anything would have to be done to allow them to skin the dialogues in a third party add-on, is there something built into every add-on to make it a little easier and provide a common procedure for skinners to change things across add-ons, i know some add-ons are 'integrated' with the more popular skins but...

either way ill deal with it and as ive said many times i appreciate all @Piers has done

My system time on ATV is set automatic and is correct with my other internet devices and in Kodi it is set as 'Central Europe' if that is was you mean.
I'm not using mysql and never edited the sqlite library.
My oldest item is from 1942 (Bambi) but it's just in my Kodi library not collected on Trakt (turned that option off) and it's not marked as wachted.

My timezone is Central European Time.

Hi There,

I got a question, I have one Folder where all the new Movies/Tv Episods are in, before I archive them via Renamer.

Most of the Time I watch them from this Folder.
My Problem is that the File Names look like this "abc-gotham-s01e06-1080p.mkv" or "abc-tbbt-s08e08-1080p.mkv" and so the addon have no Idea what i'm watching.

But the Folder names have the Proper Naming "Gotham.S01E06.Der.Geist.der.Ziege.GERMAN.5.1.DUBBED.DL.AC3.1080p.WEB-DL.h264-AbC"
on my old Popcorn C200 the Trakt script was looking first at the file name and if there is no Match it was looking at the Folder name.

Would it be Possible to add something like this to this addon too?

Edit: I just noticed that the addon don't scrobbel any file from the "download" folder even if the naming is ok,

One thing I just noticed with the new trakt add-on,
It doesn't show on Facebook which movie I've watched,
It works for tv shows.
The old trakt add-on did show the watched status on Facebook.
It does work on Twitter.

Hmmm....maybe a hiccup on Trakt's side? I just used the addon to push 3 movies and all 3 updated on FB approx 1 min after each rating.

Do you mean sync the status of watched items? Or am I misunderstanding. If you do mean that then just make sure you have it set and click on the trakt icon (from the add-ons menu). It will check what's missing from Kodi, what's missing from trakt and what's been watched on both and update accordingly.
