Wha do you mean you "I choose bestpicture xps,"? do you mean you select the oscars option of have you created you own option pointing to that playlist?

Yes, i select oscar option, video playlist, and bestpicture xps.

Kodi not see the "original movie name" indicated with ember?, for example: Title-12 Anos de Escravidão / Original Title-12 Years a Slave

2-Has anyone got successful at making a playlist of Queued Movies and hence adding that to playlist manager and then displaying as a widget on home screen Only problem is Queueing is not working or at least I cant see where do the queued movies end up ?

3- Well this is an idea of a script or an addon ----if anyone is up for it ----> Que items ( movie / TV show / whatever ) and add to home screen as widget !!!!!

i tried it using NFO's or just scanning in with moviedb and it happens with both.

2. on Page 1 of the thread, the instructions say to copy madnox files to kodi/addons/skin.aeon.madnox, but when you go to the GIThub,...
the zipped files are in a folder named skin.aeon.madnox-master ... the question is , what folder is the correct folder to install madnox in?
skin.aeon.madnox or skin.aeon.madnox-master? (if you just download the github, it will unzip to the 'skin.aeon.madnox-master' folder)

TBH... no idea --- never heard of this problem before... u can try to use ember or any other media manager to "reset" the watch marker again... but i will check it out later
maybe you have installed one addon without configure it properly ?
i will upload an actual addon pack today or tomorrow with just NEEDED actual addons...

Are you using trakt.tv addon ? unfortunately sometimes trakt has a habit of marking things watched on your behalf .. so check if that is the case or not. log on to trakt.tv website and tally your watched status in kodi .

first, top 250 and oscars uses a complete different system
top 250 use the kodi internal imdb top 250 info to show the movies

OSCARS list compare your actual MAIN movie titel with the title onside the best1.playlist ! this best1 playlist is just one part of the oscars plugin !
that means = if you dont have the 100% Same movie Title like on of the best1.xsp playlist u shouldnt see the movie !
when i start with it i get 2 ! movies of that list - Braveheart and Gladiator - because this movietitles are in english and german the same ! after i change all english titles to german, i get all movies who wins an OSCAR ( i also add oscars for special fx etc )

if you want a working oscars list, u need either name your movies with original english titles, or you need to EDIT the best1.xsp ( with a text editor - AWARE ... even one wrong space, or dot and nothing works !!! )

2. you should use a gittool to keep madnox up to date, and u dont need to download the whole pack over and over again i have a link to a realy good guide in my ... öhm formaly known 101 ^^
if you want to download it over and over again, u need to unzip the the file, and rename the folder just to "skin.aeon.madnox" ... i dont know, it maybe work with -master too... but realy try to use a git tool ! its not so hard to setup

thanks...yeah i don't know what i did. its not a skin problem i don't think. i just can't figure out why its happening.

skin.aeon.madnox or skin.aeon.madnox.master are both fine so choose one or the other. If we were to have a repo or be available on the official repo then when you download it would create skin.aeon.madnox but when you download from git it builds the skin.aeon.madnox.master as it is the master branch.

Just make sure you only have one as 2 instances can causes problems. I've had it with some addons where I've got the latest from the Git but forgot to delete the already installed on resulting in 2 folders for the same addon existsing.

I was able to Clone to Desktop, then fork it, ... but need more direct instructions after that in order to just "update" a skin Some of the instructions of Warner was for making changes to a skin, then uploading I believe ... anyway, couldn't get it... if there are any other links, please post.

hmmm just a quicky : if you have windows !
install git for windows:HERE
i dont have it installed anymore ( i needed a bit more, because i need to be synch with mikes master ^^ ) - but after u installed it u need to go to mikes github page and click on the " CLONE IN DESKTOP" icon ( right side over the download zip icon )
after that git for window ask you where to download it - THIS IS IMPORTANT !!! u need to set the path to your addons folder where u normaly copy your madnox folder ! ( u need to delete your old madnox folder before !!! - or move it elsewhere to be safe )
then git for windows will synch/download the actual state of madnox to that addonfolder inside the skin.aeon.madnox
and it will add a git folder to it

when we have an update now, u just need to start git for windows and it will show you the update - click synch and it will update the new files...

well i think that was it basicly - for just keep synch with an actual git project its good enough - when u have a forked project, its not so good ( in my eyes )

if you have problems, maybe google for a guide for git for windows - because this is the easiest tool out there
