Erm, Refresh is in this skin for videos, please go to info screen, press I on the mvoie, and select extras, Refresh should be first / second option!

Thanks. My bad. "Extras" has been the VideoExtras button on the skins I use for so long I never even checked to see. Totally missed that whole section.

Mike, looking really cool! I like seeing in one go what artwork I have for a movie!

One small request for KodiFlix and other movie views where you show a flag for the audio language. Could you also show a flag for the first subtitle language? 95%+ of my movies have subtitles, and it would be really nice to see what subtitle is there without having to go to the video info dialog.

I am using the rounded language flags, I dont know if that makes any difference. I only have the language flag, but not the subtitle.

the shape of the flags doesnt matter... what kind of videos do you have ? are your subs external or inside the video ?
maybe we can find out your problem - i am using MKVs with embed subs - and like you can see on my screens, i have the sub flag

If you edited the mkv headers after the videos were scraped into Kodi I believe you have to refresh the video to see the appropriate flags. Might be worth a try to just refresh one of the videos that you know has the correct headers. See if anything changes.

Thanks wgstarks. I ensure all the info is set before adding to my collection. And in the video info dialog, the subs flags show up correctly.

Yep. Now it's working. I'd have never figured that out thank you.

Since the last couple updates, when focused on a movie set, fanart no longer rotates. It's just one static image of one fanart.
I know it used to work because I thought that 7500ms was too long waiting for the next image to rotate in and changed it to 1500ms.
Makes no difference if you're in Movies and focused on a set or Movie Sets itself.

Movie Sets, Showcase View, Info Panel Off, Background Customizer everything off.

Please don't tell me my guisettings.xml must be whacked! Just upgraded to W10, 15.1 and clean install everything. But I wouldn't rule it out.
Please, anyone confirm if fanart rotates every 7.5 secs, if at all, using W10, 15.1 when focused on a movie set either in Movies or Movies Set?

Fanart rotates for me on win7, latest nightly and showcase view.

If you go to Main Menu/Movies and scroll until you are focused on a movie set, it no longer rotates. Just one static fanart.

There is a non-functioning setting in Main Menu/Movies:
Viewtype Settings
Background Customizer
Movie Set Fanart (This switch does nothing) This is the switch that rotates fanart or doesn't and just displays 1 static.
*Edit* Actually, none of the switches in here work.

If you go into Main Menu/Submenu/Movie Sets, you will find the same switch works proper here.

hi all . im wondering if there`s anyone here that can help me out . i`m setting up kodi for a mate of mine . a professional grafiti artist based in blackpool uk and i have seen on otherpeoples builds that it is possible to change fonts . my question is can anyone send me a graffiti style font that i can add to his build . i have background images already but the font would be the icing on the cake . thanks in advance

not what you want to hear but the switch and fanart is working fine for me on Win 8.1. Just went to a movie set in list view and the fanarts were rotating through them films, went to background customizer and switched off 'Movie Set Fanart' and it work without issue.

Yeah, in list view it works. Now turn on KodiFlix.

You have to navigate like this:
Main Menu/Movies/ then scroll to a set.
None of the switches in Background Customizer work. NONE. KodiFlix.

Not this navigation:
Main Menu/Submenu/Movie sets. This one is ok. That's because I'm not using KodiFlix here. I'm using showcase. So it's narrowed down to KodiFlix background customizer does not work exclusively for KodiFlix since all other views work including the new 3D Shelf.

Unfortunately it's not that easy to replace a font for an entire skin and as you can see I'm not sure it work work with the font you suggested:



This was just a quick change to the home bar.
