My vote is for big/small/off. Maybe add a setting SeekBarPosterEnable so it can control the poster visible flag through the settings.

I decided to add a new settings window to have even more customization options. To access you open the player controls and choose the settings icon all the way to the right. The first option controls the images (centered, right side, left side, or off) if you do not have the images set to off and activate the show plot and cast option it will be still centered regardless of the option selected but if that setting is not enabled the images will follow your choice.

Not going to put it up on GitHub yet because I would like some volunteers to take it for a test drive and give feedback/suggestions first.

@Plasmator this does not include the smaller time remaining label, it will overwrite your mod, so backup your files if you plan on testing this out.

*You must overwrite all skin files with the ones in the zip file, including the English string file in the language folder*

I just have a quick question. Whenever I download the skin straight from the github and install it I get an error about the dependencies are not met when I use the "Install from zip file" option even if I have all the required add-ons. What I did was delete the contents of the skin folder and paste everything then it worked. Is that normal? Would it cause any problems?

No, sorry. Everything in the skin with more than one row in the horizontal scrolls up/down and everything with a single row scrolls left/right. To me, that just seems to make the most sense and having just that one view behave differently than all the others seems confusing.

Oh ok. Yeah I just felt it was more natural to scroll it left to right and for me it felt odd scrolling what is a long horizontal group of banners up and down ?

I don't suppose I could modify just my own copy to just scroll Bannerplax horizontally how I would like could I ? If I knew what setting to change.

1. Constantly changing fanart backgrounds, in my Frodo Aeon Nox, I could set it up so that the backgrounds in any of the libraries (music, tv shows, movies) would randomly scroll through all the "extrafanart" pictures (that are downloaded via Artwork Downloader/cdArt Manager). I can't find where to turn this on, the backgrounds are just one static image.

2. Info panel delay, I used to have a 3 second delay on the info panel dropping down within the Libraries using Showcase.

3. Fanart viewing, used to be able to tap down twice in any library and just view a full screen fanart (the background) which like in question 1 would randomly change.

So I tried this: "Extrafanart is now available when you have script.toolbox installed and after you have run the script to add extrafanart to your DB (enable in Skin Settings > SiLVO mod)." from the FAQ

1. It looks like the Extrafanart thing using script.toolbox has done the changing fanarts in Movies and TV Shows, any way to get it to do it with Music as well? Even if its a manual way or something?

2. Can I officially request this haha, or at least number 3.

3. I thought the extrafanart thing would do this, but still don't know how to view full screen fanart (used to be double tap down lol). If this isn't in, I'll request it haha, if number 2 is too hard, then this one sort of replaces it in my mind anyway so do this instead

InfoPanel delay is the first option in Skin settings > Advanced

You can view fullscreen fanart through the + sign when viewing the information screen.

Ah full on blonde not seeing that info panel setting, and to think I even looked through the settings for ages trying to find it.

I'll see if I can google how to add music art in to the DB, surely someone else has wanted to before.

Took me a while to figure out where this + sign was, but yeah found it, its not ideal, much preferred the double tap down. Its not really important though, its mainly for a laugh when my wife sees a new background of a tv show we like and we want to have a look at it real quick haha.

Added the new skin files - way cool to have the new settings window. Everything seems to be working with the new changes - will know more after a few hours of usage.

BTW, I only had to mod the new "variables.xml" to replace "[CR]" with " ". Thanks for the heads up though - much appreciated.

You could but you would have to change and add a few things including the position of the scrollbar so I just did it cause explaining what to do would take longer than actually doing it

The files are only for testing purposes so I made the images appear when paused so it can be tested more easily. They will appear the way you want when I properly add it to the skin.

The instructions are simple but can unfortunately be time consuming.
You have to compare your language strings.po file to the current most up to date English one. If you look at the difference between the same numbered entries you will notice where the translated string goes.

Here is an example of an English string:

msgctxt "#31000"
msgid "Directed by"
msgstr ""

You just add the translation in between the quotes on the line beginning with msgstr.
You can use this site to compare the files to see what is missing.
Ignore the ones already filled in and just look for the grey sections showing missing items and not the red showing what has changed.

To download the English string file right-click and save as on the first link above. Then use the second to take you to the language folder and select your language then the strings.po file in that folder. Then right-click and save as where it says raw to download the file.

These instruction can be used by anybody willing to translate in their native language.

I will assume that this post only appears to be rude and impatient because you are not a native English speaker.

Let me also try to explain the reason for that previous statement by saying that if you ask me to stop working on the skin to tell you how to do what you want when I have already said it will be added for the benefit of all that use it, that response appears to be, a little selfish
In other words be patient and you will get what you want.
