Several addons allow that view to be changed in their settings. So if it's a view that is presented upon entering an addon I think you would have to change the addon not the skin if that setting isn't available via the addon's settings.

This isn't accurate. There are tons of people online that have changed the xml by doing simply what I stated and it works. If the addon doesn't support that specific view then it default to the next one in line until it finds one that addon supports. My question is why isn't it working for me but it is everyone else?

Hi Mike. Just bugging you again and wondering if you've looked at or thought about this yet? I understand that it'd be nice to have the info on all artwork types but as a last resort, having it only show on Landscape wouldn't be too much of a downside. Anyway, the work is always appreciated.

Finally found some time to work on the Widgets and, even though it took forever, I added it on Git for Krypton only.

Speaking of Widgets some things have been removed and changed.
The Widget settings layout has been redone so maybe those that had mouse issues won't anymore also I have removed the Mixed Widget option.

That last thing might be a disappointment for some but they were complicated, too many lines of code, and would be a nightmare to maintain. They will not be coming back. If you have one already set when the skin updates again for Krypton you will need to select a different style.

Will push v6.0.0 for Krypton to the repo soon with a new link in the first post so if anybody has any bugs to report please do so at your earliest convenience.

hey people im trying out this mod for 1st time, the problem im having is in the side menu "background" i don't see cycle fanart button. Is there an option in settings that im not activating to turn it on? please help, love the mod skin

The Live-TV Bar isn't visible anymore on "Info". Only "OK" brings it up together with the buttons at the top. Is this the new default?
Did I miss a new setting?

Try latest from Git please. Read the FAQ on how to install from GitHub, you do not want 2 skin folders on the same install

Live-TV is OK now, as far as I can see. I can't test Pause, FF/RW on Live-TV, because I'm not using Timeshift.

TV-Recordings: Can you please display Plot AND PlotOutline on TV-Recordings? Like on Live-TV PlotOutline is not a short version of Plot (like in Films or TV-Shows/Series)
Atm there is only the Plot when PlotOutline is empty. Which is the right setting for Movies and TV-Shows

A Skinner then replied that he replaced the thumbnails with the fanart for episodes not yet seen.

I am now asking if it's possible for you to blur thumbnails/screenshots of episodes not yet seen, or replace the images with the fanart/poster like in the image below?

You probably shouldn't be looking at INFOlabels for conditional unless you need to check a string. Take a look at the list of boolean conditions (wiki) there is Pvr.IsPlayingRecording.

Hard to handle recordings because I design things for properly maintained libraries with all that lovely metadata that makes everything so nice

Might need to post some pics and/or a mockup so I can see what is shown and what you prefer to see. Please translate any German parts that would be relevant like what the Plot and PlotOutline say cause all I can tell is that one is shorter than the other

Check Kodi Wiki on updating. Some settings will need to be re-setup including all Widgets and some defaults were changed so on skin update you will need to personalize it if you want different from them. Menus and submenus "should" survive the update since it is handled by the skin shortcuts script.
