Why not point out what bothers you and it might make a difference? I personally work with complex systems daily and appreciate any constructive feedback because there's always a chance that I can do something about it Smile

Agreed, although I did ask for support/criticism in this thread so I'm partly at fault for that because a couple of days ago it hadn't yet been decided to proceed with the "Next Gen" skin in Kodi 17, and if the overwhelming response to this new skin had been negative then I would have dropped it from these builds. However after 49 downloads and only one negative response it seems fair to say that people either like it, or don't care either way! Smile

As it is, the decision has now been taken to switch Kodi master to the updated skin (in time for Kodi 17), so that decision is now moot and this new skin will be staying. I will however continue to pull the skin from the upstream repository as this is currently under heavy development (so now is a good time to get things you don't like fixed, if they're not fixed already).

Anyone with Estuary "next gen" skin suggestions, please post details in the Estuary forum.

I tried the build just posted with the update skin. Initially i thought the fonts were too big, however i adjusted.

The only thing that bothered me was that I like the "Recently Added" section with TV & MOVIE sections. What bothered me with the skin update was if one of the recently added items becomes marked as watched, it disappears from the recently added list.

I like to see all the new movies, even if they are marked as watched.
Hi, i have AMD RX460 based video card in my HTPC, but LibreElec's boot process stops with a black screen and mouse pointer, so I have to use onboard graphics. Is there any deadline when that will be fixed? Thanks

No ETA, kind of low-ish priority as nobody on the dev team has an AMD RX4xx GPU with which to test or work out what the problem is, and the custom xorg.conf works for now.

I don't care that much about the skin, I just want to try the latest stuff to brake something Tongue

But my GF liked it. She is used to the big icons from Plex. So if she's happy with that I am all for it Smile

This morning before heading for work did some tests. And I was too hasty to say "recent". I tried all the way up to build #1013 and I still get a black screen when FastForwarding, but not Rewinding. This evening I'll try with the 7.0.2 Jarvis or continue going backwards with the Krypton builds.
I use the Chromebox (CN60) so it's an Intel Celeron 2955U. No dual boot, HDMI output. My Kodi GUI is set to 1920x1080@50p with VAAPI HW decoding for all compressions alongside Yadif deinterlacing. The playback PAL files are just simple European Satellite MPEG2 captures (no recompression whatsoever) so just pure Transport streams. Happens as well with Program streams (VOB files) from DVD rips. Like I wrote before using one of the hardware VAAPI deinterlace methods doesn't cause the black screen when FF-ing, only one of the software ones. And only PAL 50i files. I'll also post a log file from the most recent build just in case.
I'm curios if anybody can reproduce what I'm experiencing. I believe I have narrowed down the conditions of when its happening.

I believe this behavior is exclusive to Milhouse's builds as he includes a PR to exclude watched items from the recently watched on the homescreen. I personally think it is great and any skin I use must have the ability to do this or its a no go for me. Check under the skin settings as there may be an option to disable this, at least I think there was when the PR was included in Confluence.
@Jdiesel that PR was only needed with the old skin. Standard behaviour with the updated Estuary is to now list only unwatched items in the recently added widget list. You can still see all items in the recently added view. This widget behaviour is not configurable.

Latest build all looks good and love the new skin, but... is it possible to "zoom out" widget only? (to me it looks a bit big)

I assume we ask in the new skin forum to get this behavior linked to the main option to Hide Watched ?
Only reason is other family watch a recently added item, and I go check whats new, it would be gone from that list.

This might be a little tricky. I intend to include all the latest bleeding edge skin fixes in these builds, but don't want this thread to be derailed by skin discussion. For now I'd rather you all posted issues/bugs/feature requests in the Estuary forum, but make it clear you're using using the latest skin version from https://github.com/phil65/skin.estuary.
