When using the vertical menu layout, is there any reason for only being able to make 4 widgets per menu shortcut. It would be great to be able to make more(Trying to make a movie menu shortcut, where all my movies have a row for each genre). If it isnt possible, is there anyone who has made a workaround?

Yes, performance and complexity. I am making progress however with optimizations which would also create a base to have more widgets.
This is something that takes some time to do well so it will take me a few weeks.
In the meanwhile you could have a look at the netflix homemenu, which can have 15 widget rows. If you disable the top details pane it's almost like the vertical homescreen.

For sports, I'm trying to have the new games show up in widgets at the top of the list like it does for tv & movies. To do this I guess it needs a 'recently added' column. Path currently is select widget, video library, sources, file where sports are kept. I have tried a sports scraper but didn't work. So currently it shows the games but in decending order.

The lastest beta version of the skin auto creates listings for tags.
So, if you put a tag on the items you can have widgets like recently added etc.

Can you slightly increase the size of the plot so all 4 rows are readable? As it is, the 4th row is cutoff. Or show 3 rows only, either way is fine...

1. I want to use the netflix style home menu layout 2, but I would also like the vertical menu to look like the Modern Big Vertical Homescreen Layout at the same time.

2. In addition to this, I want to be able to go all the way to the right on a home screen widget and end up on the left, and go all the way left and end up on the right, with out opening up the vertical menu. Instead, activating the vertical menu with the push of a menu button on my remote.

3. not sure if this is even possible, but being able to bring up the confluence menu from a widget.

In a previous thread I had mentioned how much I like the episode info as displayed in Emby. What they have done is to display the show name followed by the episode information UNDER the thumb view. This got me thinking: do we really need to have our widget info overlayed OVER the various widget layouts? Having the overlay hides the artwork. Emby has placed their info below the artwork and it looks GREAT. Could you do this too? I'd really like to see all of the episode artwork and not have it covered up.

I use my logitech harmony and i dont need the first 6-7 buttons in the play-menu and it would be a bit more comfortable for me if i could disable them.
For example the Aeon MQ - skin has an option to customize this menu.
But maybe the line in the code i have to delete would be fine for me.

What are the chances of mirroring the button configuration for Estuary's "Program information" window for PVR, Titan currently has a cancel button (i never use it as i always use "backup" - which is pretty much the normal behavior in Kodi)

In Estuary there are 4 buttons - Switch channel, Record/Stop recording, Find similar & Set Timer. Can the cancel button be replaced by "set timer"?

Feature request:
I think it would be much easier if there was a checkbox or "Enabled" text easier to see on the repository directories. Maybe on the right hand side of each listing?? Much easier to see without scrolling to each line to see if each addon is enabled or not.

Just another thing. Is it possible to show the rating in the movie/tv show detailed info (on top of the widget) or to jump to the detail of the movie from the item of the widget?

You can press the <info> key and you will get the fullscreen info for the item.

Hi, info key calls system info when clicking Over the movie on the widget. It only works when I'm inside the movie library. Is there any other alternative. Would it be hard to show the rating directly in the widget?

So it doesn't work on widgets.
The enable watched indicator is on.
In libraries I see the eye tag in the corner.
But with widgets not.
