This is a very light modification to Estuary that provides the following:

• ability to reorder and turn off home screen left menu items
  
• ability to reorder and deactivate sub-menu widgets
  
• option to use small icons for the categories
  
• ability to change the action of most of the main menu items (to one of a preset group of choices based on the menu item)
  
• added a new TV Show widget called Unwatched/In Progress Shows (it's off by default)
  
• setting to change the color diffusion of background art (from 0 - 100%)
  
• adds an option to show the artist bio on the music visualization info screen
  
• adds an option to have the music visualization screen keep images in whatever aspect ratio they have when downloaded
  
• better support for 4 digit channel numbers in PVR
  
• option to have seekbar at the bottom (basically the way it was in Leia)
  
• option to use Roboto Condensed font
  

To use this you need to install my skin repo for Matrix and then install the Matrix Estuary skin mod.

The option to start the music visualization when playing music is now a Core feature and can be found in Settings > Media > Music.

Thanks.  I had seen a note about that, but I thought it was a new Estuary setting.  When I couldn't find it, I added the option in the skin.  Didn't realize it was a Core setting. Thanks for that clarification, and I'll pull the option from the mod.  One less thing to maintain.  '-)

Probably not. I brought across almost everything from my Leia mod that didn't get addressed in some other way by the Matrix version of Estuary.  Here's what didn't come over:

• eliminates the dark overlay on the artist image on the music visualization screen (fixed in core Estuary)
  
• option to trigger music visualization screen when you start playing music (fixed in Kodi core)
  
• option to use alternate layout for weather widget in top bar that doesn't overlap with certain views (looks like it was mostly fixed in core Estuary)
  
• support for the Premiere tag used by some PVR addons (fixed in core Estuary)
  
• added categories in TV category widget for X-NEWA and Pseudolibrary if those addons are installed
  
• option to use an alternate timer layout that puts the show name before the channel name in the PVR listings
  
• support for weather icon packs (this was a mess, and I couldn't even figure out how I had made it work)
  
• option to use the Weather menu as a weather clock (I moved this to it's own skin and repo)
  

Guilouz's mod is almost more of a rewrite using the same UI, so there are things in there that are a much bigger deal, and since I'm not even using Estuary anymore I don't really have a good way to do any detailed testing.

The version of Matrix referenced on that page is almost 6 months old, and the 5.15. GUI requirement was added in the last month or so. As Matrix is just now in Alpha, it changes pretty quickly.  You'll need to ask the QNAP folks (or whoever is maintaining that package) to update the version they are providing.

There are 4 things i miss in Estuary since it was introduced:

- display current chapter (video info screen)
- video bookmarks (chapters) as a list instead of horizontal images
- discart (audio and video)
- order by artist/year instead of artist/title in musicvideo genres

would be great to have it in the mod too

I just checked - it's available for movies/tv shows but not for music videos

It's been in Nightly builds since middle of June and so is in Matrix v19 Alpha 1.
