Are you talking about the original bingie 1.03? You don’t actually need the skin but you do need it’s dependencies. So you can delete the skin if you wish once it’s installed.

To install bingie mod 1.07 on firestick transfer the zip file from your pc to your firestick using an FTP program.

Once the file is on your firestick you can use the install from zip option.

Not sure. I only use a dedicated Home Theater PC but there are people on here that might be able to help you out. I have no idea how Android TV, Fire sticks work or other methods of using the Kodi work.

PLEASE READ THE STATEMENT ON THE FIRST PAGE OF THIS ENTIRE THREAD, it says after you install the repository and skin to install the mod zip file. That's all I'm saying.

That’s funny because I don’t really understand what you’re asking me now either to be honest.

What skin are you talking about that’s “part of Kodi”?

You really just need to just follow my instructions and transfer the downloaded zip to your firestick and once transferred use the “install from zip” option in Kodi to install it.

Just a quicky. You must know I've spent the last few days weeks figuring how to get my library working with folders. Now I have it all going, once the 1.08 is released you said in a earlier post install as zip. Will the backup from my 1.07 run on top and put all my settings in place? Or will i have to do it all again?

The skin never affects your library/folder set up. It does however enable you to show your library in various ways (through widgets on Home Screen and hubs) and through views. Don’t overthink it. It’s that simple. If it’s not simple for you it probably means something is up with your library setup unrelated to the skin.

When updating, any settings you’ve changed in the skin will remain the same.

Show me a picture of your homescreen. The last picture I saw was your homescreen looking like a mess, incorrectly displaying filename+extension instead of clearlogos or titles.

installed bingie repo ( cartman) , then installed the skin , then installed bingie mod and am left with this frozen screen , have rebooted kodi a couple of times but doesn't change , 18.9 on mac.n imac.
