Yes, i think most users do it that way. But iam using MQ7 so i want that the german fsk (mpaa) logos are shown correctly. And i dont like it when there are some missing... ;-)

It's getting stuck on Forgetting Sarah Marshell for me. On the home screen, the progress circle keeps spinning.

Thanks for your report. Could you please also post the update.log file you can find under the userdata folder (please refer to the first post for further information)? Anyway it seems you are using version 4.0.0...please try to update to 4.2.2 first...

I thought the package was part of a built-in repo so I did check for updates prior.

With 4.2.2 it did manage to get past that title and it did hang a little on it. After it finished it says there were errors, see log file.

Here's the new log. I've updated Kodi to 18.9 in the meantime too.

As you can see from the log, all movies and TV shows have missing IDs so it is impossible to update the ratings. For example:

Code:
Zoolander (IMDb ID: n/a, TVDB ID: n/a, TMDB ID: n/a)

Breaking Bad (IMDb ID: n/a, TVDB ID: n/a, TMDB ID: n/a)

Method get_tvshow_IMDb_ID - Breaking Bad (IMDb ID: n/a, TVDB ID: n/a, TMDB ID: n/a)

I use the built-in one. The universal Movie scraper. I cannot see which settings to change to add the id to the metadata file. I suppose this is out of the scope of this thread.

So after a long gap, last night I set up my sources from scratch. Movies have local nfos and TV shows are set to get info from TVDB.
Installed v3.5.4 and set up a scheduled time in the addon. However, nothing seems to be happening at all. The IMDB 250 ranking doesn't change and the log file (update.log) is empty and the timestamp only reflects the time I exited the settings and not the scheduled time as I expected. I made sure that there was no activity around the scheduled time either. Not sure what am I missing..

Hi,
The Light IMDB Ratings addon for Kodi is no longer working since today. The Run button is greyed out. I'm running Kodi v18.9 in Windows 10 PC. The addon was working fine up to last Friday. I don't know what changed recently. Could you please check and replicate the issue to see if it can be resolved? I really like this addon and it'd be a shame to let it go.

Well, the "Run" button has been always grayed-out...Are you sure you are not confusing with another Add-on? Light IMDb Ratings Update acts as a service, so it is not possible to have that button enabled. Nevertheless, you can manually launch it by clicking on its icon under the Add-on menu in the Home screen of Kodi.
