I've read the OP and I've used google and the forum search for aura + repo + matrix (and other combinations) and found no solutions to my question
I did found a jurialmunkey repo in older skins, but as it wasn't mentioned in the OP, so I don't know if I need that for this skin too.
I did not know this skin is not supported/continued anymore (just read that a few pages back). Hard to use the right search queries then

Love this skin! Absolutely my favorite. But how can I update it? Is it enough to load new zip from repository on top of currently installed skin?

jurialmunkey (the one that originally built Aura skin) has a newer skin that looks great and I may switch to start using it myself.

I found that I could switch the skin layout to horizontal (default is vertical) and then layout is similar to Aura (though with better and much more feature rich options).
Also, it will soon be in official Kodi repo so that it would be readily maintained/updated and easier to install.
I would strongly advise at least looking into this skin as a replacement for Aura.
Your mod its functional so ill continue using.
In the future if you make some fix all community of aura will be very appreciated.

Hi everyone,
To those loving Aura like me, there seems to be 3 versions of this addon updated to matrix:
All seem to work and were forked at seemingly different times, although kcook's seems to be the closer to JM's version (I haven't looked very closely)
I also see that there is an Auramod version but I find the settings layout less pretty than vanilla Aura.

Do RT and Metacritic ratings work? I note that they are using the kodi repo version of metadautils...
I've reported yet to @kcook_shield  but i don't think will be some developing.
