Alpha Arctic Fuse 2
Hello Jurial, I just discovered a few days ago that you have been working on this new skin, being a user of AF for several months I can say that you did an amazing job to streamline the skin to make it easier to config and use for the general public.

If you don’t mind me asking do you know how I can use the colored video and audio codec icons (4K, 24fps, DTS etc…) ?
Right now it use a standard white text, and I remember being able to set the colored icons in Artic Fuse 1, I also checked the dependencies but couldn’t find anything.

Other than that it’s been a really solid experience using this new iteration. Thank again for your commitment throughout all these years 🙌

Has the holiday themes stopped working for anyone else or is it just me?

I’ve notice an issue when I start Kodi and the skin starts to load. The screen comes up, the widgets start to initialize, but then the screen goes black after a few seconds and stays that way for almost a min before the “generating content” popup comes up and the skin seems to restart. I’m on a 4k firestick.

Thank you for your answer!

It's not the clock, here is an example:

For the already watched toggle, I meant there are some sections already populated by the skin and I don't know if I can apply a filter on these, e.g:

I would also like to know if this is possible.

It is probably updating.

Go to settings > Navigate to system > Move downwards to "Add-ons" > The first setting there "Updates", change it to "Notify, but don't install updates". You will then get notifications for any updates, then you can navigate to the addon browser and update it manually

Ohh that's what you meant... That's the TMDBhelper rating, or Kodi rating, not sure which but it's one of those. You can turn it off in skin settings if you don't want it.

Go to skin settings > go down to details > go down to customize indicators > toggle off Rating (artwork overlay)

I don't understand your second problem though

Yes, it's possible.

Go to Skin settings > Go to Menus > Go to customize hubs... Navigate to any other hub... Switch the mode to "Basic Widgets"... Toggle on "use as home"... then put your home widgets there... then that would be your homepage, no side menu, just widgets... Or did you mean something different? 🤔

Oh ok, so there is no configuration entry to change the rating source then?

About my second issue: I'd like to customize the "Top Rated Movies" so it doesn't show my already watched movies. I am wondering if it's possible and how to do it : )

You can change the ratings source for ratings in the ratings line(directly under the plot) but the one at the top right corner of the artwork... I don't think you can.

By top rated movies, are you referring to widgets or library... I'm guessing widgets since the first solution would work for library.... For widgets, if that is TMDBhelper, go to the addon, go to settings, go down to widgets, click on "Hide watched items"

There's only a Christmas one (which starts in December). I realised too late that I never made a Halloween one.

This is Kodi updating the skin from the repo.

At the moment there are frequent (near daily) updates so you would see this more frequently, but as the skin settles I'll move to something closer to a weekly release cycle.

You can disable it by setting it to Bump in Skin Settings > Menus section.

The rating in the circle is whatever is in ListItem.Rating
For library, this is determined by your scraper settings. For a plugin, this is determined by whatever plugin you are using.

It is not possible to access other ratings other than ListItem.Rating from inside the item itself (only outside i.e. in the info panel via TMDbHelper).
