Hello guys,
i have a question about my tv/amp/speakers
I Have a new Philips android tv with Kodi installed (obviously) and an older Hi-Fi Onkyo receiver with 2.0 Jamo speakers. The receiver has only aux input. I have it connected to Sound Blaster XFi and a pc and it sounds great, but i want to use it with the tv for my mp3/flac collection on a NAS. The tv has toslink output and headphone out, for now i have connected from 3.5mm headphone out with high quality cable to rca on my receiver and it sounds ok. My question is whether switching to digital out, toslink to rca converter make any noticeable difference in quality, is the onboard dac of tv fine or i will get something extra with some amazon converter.
Thank you.
