I wish mine would show the refresh rate! I wonder why it does on your set but not mine? OLEDE6V. It bugs the life out of me as I like to see what it is actually showing!
I have the LG OLED 65E6V and mines doesn't show the refresh rate either. It only shows 3D / 16:9 / 1080p / Dolby Digital when playing the file from Kodi samples wiki.

Which firmware version do you have? Mines runs on 04.30.90

Can you please playback the Kodi test sample ISO on your setup and post what your output is during playback with Kodi codec info (button "o") and ctrl+shift+o
