this new thread for info & support for Windows 3D MVC playback with Kodi.
Hi, back from the "Work in Progress - Windows 3D MVC Bluray test builds" Threat, I am very confused. I have ordered a Intel NUC DN2820FYKH and now i read that there are problems with lip sync errors with 3d isos and hd audio. Ok now i have time to cancel my order and switch to another nuc. But witch kind of nuc should i buy. HDMKV wrote that he will favors a i3! But there are many generations of i3.
Please, what kind of i3 should i buy. I need everything (passthroud, hd audio, full hd 3d iso playback, mkv etc.) except 4k.

If money is not an issue I will look into i5 4th/5th, but if you are looking into i3 then the 4th/5th gen should do,I have Blurriness issue with the i3 6th Gen, so I don't know if I will advise that, but you can still try,it could be something that I was doing wrong.

yes no blurriness here at all so it could have been a NUC issue or something else, just perfect crisp video with i3 6300(6th gen) so imo i'd go 6th gen, the only reason to go for old hardware would be cost..
Thanks for that Intel NUC link @

InDepth Reviews NUC's
Now the question is buy a Skylake NUC or wait for KabyLake

Think I'll use audio delay (actually audio advancement using minus 500ms) adjustment for now w/my Celeron NUC for 3D ISO's, then wait for Kaby Lake... hopefully we'll see NUC's w/it by Holidays.
@
brazen1, re:
the audio offset via Kodi, does it affect all videos? Wouldn't want that as 3D MVC & 2D MKV's are playing w/o audio sync error.

Ok, but why should i buy a 6th gen and not a 5th or 4th gen. What are the benefits of 6th gen that justifies the more costs?
If you can get a 6th gen for about the same price as 4th/5th, I'd get it... but, as for being 4K-proof, better to wait for 7th gen in Q4 of this year.

Question, do you have at every movie you play the broken audio/video sync? Then you are right and you can adjust it for every movie. But if its only a 3D Iso problem how would you adjust this in kodi? Is there a option to say only XXXms adjust for 3D Iso files?
Just a quick FF is working for me on the NUC DN2820

Sorry, FF? What do you mean?

It's just 3D ISO's... which is why I was asking @
brazen1, who suggested the audio delay in the dev thread. Maybe there's a way to have audio delay apply just to ISO's via advancedsettings.xml?
