Does anyone have a 99% stable MVC system?

I'm running a D54250WYK, but I get regular GPU crashes.  This isn't usually during playback, just the UI itself, sometimes when resuming the system.  I'd like to replace the NUC with something more reliable, but I don't know what's safe to buy.  I'm still using HDMI 1.4 everywhere.

Mine is stable although not a NUC type system. It is a NAS using a Supermicro X11SCA-F. The NAS runs multiple VMs including a Kodi Windows VM which has the Intel graphics passed through to it, the system and host OS use the separate IPMI VGA.

It works with the HDMI 1.4 output (Passive display port adapter). It also works with the HDMI 2.0 output as long as the next device in the chain is HDMI 1.X. I had to disable standby in the VM (Although in my case it makes virtually no difference at all).
