Where do I find the naming conventions/folder structure for adding DVD bonus features and extras?

Naming Files

You could also search for old threads on the forum that speak to this. Cheers!

I appreciate the response but the naming conventions doesn't address naming the DVD extras. I have also searched the forums and Google. Everything I find points to this page http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:VideoExtras which has no information.

Yeah, unfortunately that addon and it's creator have been banned here. Sad If you can get ahold of that addon somewhere else, then it's really simple.

VideoExtra Add-on is discontinued. Why don'y you consider this simple solution:

http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Extras

- You can named sub folder for extra materials as you like.
- Don't forget to exclude that folder from video library scan.

Good luck.
Sorry for my English.

No it hasn't. It has simply been banned form discussion on the forums due to "association" with another situation. I still use it.

OP just needs to google the author of the add-on and look at their direct documentation.

Failing that, I just write an NFO for any addon/extras - or even scrape them in as the original movie, then edit the name. Kludgey, but functional.

I have many hundreds of extras all held in a separate folder on a different disc to the TV Shows themselves.

Unfortunately the Extras addon requires the data to be held in a sub-folder of the main TV Series folder so I can't use it.

I have had to create a separate Video Source containing just files and manually go into it that way. I have called each folder the name of the TV Show.

Creating hundreds of NFO files would be very time consuming.

I am also not sure what Kodi would do if I had multiple locations for each TV Show (ie the actual episodes in one path and the extras in another)

It is a pity there isn't a slicker way to do this.
