Unfortunately not. Really wish you could at least get it in skin settings as it would be nice to be able to provide different levels of settings.

heck then you could use it through out the skin for different menus could change based on this setting , heck even add one more to the roll for kiosk. just to keep thing uniform through out the windows.

It is saved in guisettings.xml so I imagine it would be pretty easy to write a simply python script to retrieve it

Had not thought of that but for that to work the skin setting would have to update instantly as u click thru the choices...
