Hi Everyone,
I'm actually using kodi on my new "htpc" operating on OpenELEC (latest version), the problem is that when i'm playing videos my CPU is used at 100% on both cores which results on a drastic drop of fps. Here is my actual setup:
- Motherboard : Asrock T48EM1 with her APU T48E (2 Core, 1333 Mhz)
- 2 GO RAM 1333Mhz
- GPU: Nvidia GT 630
My screen is connect via HDMI directly to the Nvidia GPU (Not to the Motherboard).
I didn't install anything such as drivers (my GPU seems to be recongnize in the settings).
For someone like me who doesn't know anything about how video is played by a computer, it sounds weird that the CPU had to support this amount of work where my GPU doesnt seems to do anything...
I would like to know if kodi is using my GPU and if it is the case is there a solution to fix this fps drop ?
I apologize for my bad English, i'm still learning it at the time ^^.
Thanks for your futures answers, DrTuusen.
