Right :-) Updated the description.
Imported with Leia. It looks like the whole UI including images, texts and UI elements are scaled with a very jaggy algorithm.

Do you have display calibration applied in kodi by any chance?

No - but if you would have touched that it would mean that kodi would apply scaling. Ensure that the tv is set to smart scan or whatever it is called so you really get an 1:1 Pixel mapping.
