I have a Vero 4k+, an Apple TV 4k and now a Shield Pro 2019. The latter plays DV with Kodi without problems, some movies do have a red push.

Are you saying you can now play DV files via Kodi ? If so, that contradicts Post #1 of this thread:-

"Playback DV video with Dolby TrueHD/Atmos audio on the 2019 Nvidia Shield using Plex. (Kodi playback does NOT work (click))"

I have a Vero 4K+ myself which is perfect for me except for the lack of DV support, so I'm thinking about getting a Shield.
I also have Plex running inside Docker on a Synology DS920 which should be good enough for DV playback with TrueHD / Atmos on the Shield if I decide to get one. But I'd prefer to use KODI.
