I've recently installed Kodi Leia (official) on xbox one along with the youtube add-on.
I'm stumped at getting high resolution video.
I've followed the usual advice (configure adaptative/rmtp video), but it seems the
problem lies elsewhere. In the youtube add-on, it says it needs mdash support to play
hi-res video, and that in turns requires an httpserver on the box.
I looked at the server parameters. No matter what I do, in IP check,
it says "HTTP server not running".
I assumed it might be because it tries to reach out from the outside world to contact the
server, but enabling upnp doesn't change anything.
Nor does opening a nat rule to the http server in my outside router.
So several questions:
1/ did I miss something obvious
2/ is there something missing from the xbox one port that means there's no http server?
3/ am I missing a dependency on some httpserver add-on ? and in which case, where can I get it ?
A quick search on the "official" xbox one repository shows nothing.
