I have been trying to get Jellyfin to play a DV 7 movie on a 4k Chromecast (newest version). I read that Kodi converts it on the fly (wtf?) so I tried, and somehow it works. I am streaming the same movie from a jellyfin server to kodi on chromecast, and it works. On the jellyfin client, it won't work. All my DV7 movies won't work, but movies with same codecs, bits, resolution, etc will work. Examples below:

I'm hoping someone here might be able to summarize how Kodi can play DV7?
