Firstly, if you have a message like that, then the scraper hasn't even been kicked off by XBMC. If XBMC detects local information, it doesn't fire up the scraper. So it is not the scraper what says this, but XBMC.

Secondly, search for *.nfo in your music source to see.

I didn't actually; never touched that part of the configuration pane, but I see now what you mean. I naively was putting NFOs with Musicbrainz links within the albums' folders and then creating the corresponding Allmusic.com relations in Musicbrainz, thinking that the reviews would come from allmusic.com, when actually the ones that came did so from The AudioDB. The ones that aren't coming now is because they have no reference in the AudioDB; that explains it all.

Thanks! CF
We still need help copying the BBC reviews into TheAudioDB.

You can click on the bbc icon under the review text box, and it will automatically browse to all the reviews on the BBC site.

Thanks Zag,

I indeed express my delight in seeing the free-to-share BBC links on The AudioDB. This is a fantastic improvement.

When i try to "quary info for all albums" - nothing happend
When i enter "album informatio" and "reload" i got all infos for album.
Why "quary info for all albums" does not work? Thx
make it work whit itunes Big Grin
@olympia

TheAudioDB now supports album ratings, would be cool to have this on the scraper.

The JSON response is intScore

It also needs lots of users to rate as many albums as possible to make the scores useful.

I went with a "out of 10" system just like IMDB. I didn't like the Allmusic "5 star rating" very much sorry Wink

Some examples of popular albums here http://www.theaudiodb.com/topalbums
@zag

This has been added, but you will need to get someone to fix the issue XBMC is dividing rates above 5 by 2...
Question:
Would it be possible to include the Encyclopaedia Metallum Scraper to the used sites for this add-on?
Since my library is about 50% Pop/Rock and 50% Metal this would be very useful.
last.fm has deprecated the artist.getImages method:
http://www.last.fm/group/Last.fm+Web+Ser.../_/2216689

metadata.common.last.fm needs updating ;-)
i thought there was something wrong, since i didn't get any infos for a lot of bands/albums in my library yesterday for whom i did get info 2 weeks ago.
XBMC 13.0-ALPHA7
Universal Scraper version 2.1.0

Got an album that won't scrape. The report:-

Remove the log from the forum. Use pastebin.com
Musicbrainz API doesnt return any results for that search

Code:
http://search.musicbrainz.org/ws/2/release/?fmt=xml&query=release:"A%20Broke%20Down%20Melody"%20AND%20artist:"Various%20Artists"

But the release does exist here:

http://musicbrainz.org/release-group/490...72d26d33a5

EDIT: Its because the titles are different, check the space between the "Broke Down"

This works fine

Code:
http://search.musicbrainz.org/ws/2/release/?fmt=xml&query=release:%22A%20BrokeDown%20Melody%22%20AND%20artist:%22Various%20Artists%22
Thanks, Zag. I'll check in to that.
