I also have both issues. Tried to re-install Kodi & catchup tv but no changes.
Latest beta of Kodi ? How did you get it ? Can’t see it on the update availables (on Google Chromecast)

Catch-Up TV & More Beta 18 works for me (and others) with Kodi 20
Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere, but I cannot find it.
In the configuration of Catch-Up TV is a button for Download. I would like to download some programmes to append additional subtitles.
I am using Windows 10 and shield TV. On my widows' computer, I have a hard drive with full permissions for sharing. I have no problems watching videos already on the drive with kodi.
I created a new folder on that drive, but when I tried to set it as the download destination in the Catch-Up TV configuration, I get the message: Make sure the selected folder is writable and that the new folder name is valid
How do I download, or is there something in Windows to stop it?

also RTBF? Één for example works for me, but for RTBF I get a "One or more items failed to play" error.

On version beta 19 I’m now unable to get the video for channels TF1 and TMC. The screen remains black but the sound works well.
Anyone having the same issue ?

A long time ago I was trying to get UKTV Play working through this addon without success. However, a recent update to Widevine CDM seems to have fixed that for me - in fact Kodi has become my usual way to access this content now. There are a few other services I'd like to add, hopefully without doing anything "banned", but as I've solved this one, I thought I'd just let you know.

Sinds feb-01 Dutch Live tv, NPO-channels don't work anymore with error above. In Retrospect-addon it was resolved, but in catchuptv & more not.Already uploaded several times the log but perhaps there went something wrong with the notefication, it was sended to:

I am a new user of this extension, crazy job !
After looking on the website i have been able to install it without issue my shield running kodi 20. (using beta repo)
My issues ;
Minor - Unable to add the channel to the TV section (even after selecting the channels and generating the configs)
Major - While looking TV (TF1) i have frequently some loading waiting time, can be quick or stuck for long time.
Do you have the same issue ?
For sure the issue is not on networking side (fiber, wired, everything is working etc.)
