Thank you for providing the new Kodi 18.7.1 version ... matthuisman and thanks to peak3d and other Kodi team members.
"The Mandalorian"
A question for you: ... What happens to you, for example ... assuming HDR or Dolby Vision is activated for the Disney+ addon for your TV set ... so if you fast forward ... maybe with a few interruptions until shortly before the end of an episode ... therefore until the end credits where the text runs?
Well most of them don't zap like crazy and then switch off this episode ... when the credits come ... anyway, it was always the same with me.
Hi there
I have the add on installed & working, I just need to be able to add the content to my library like you can with Netflix & prime video;
ie by exporting titles as strm / nfo so I can catalogue them with tinyMediaManager.
The Disney add on isn’t as useful for me without this functionality; have I missed something? Is this option present but I just can’t find it?
Many thanks
Hello matthuisman
... can you please help me bring the latest Commint from the Kodi 19 Matrix Alpha ... or Kodinerds 19 Alpha into the Kodi Leia 18.7.1?
Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019
LG Oled TV set
Disney + Addon version 0.2.9
For example series:
"The Mandalorian"
"Marvel’s Runaways"
What did I find out now ... So if one of us now forwards / skips until shortly before the end of an episode ... So until the end of the credits and then plays these credits until the end ... then there are still problems with the Dolby Vision Icon or HDR Icon and that every few seconds .... Icon on / Icon off on the TV set.
The phenomenon is still there with the new Android Kodi Leia 18.7.1 (64 bit) ... but it is no longer there with the new Kodinerds 19 Matrix Alpha (64 bit) from 06/01/2020 by Uncle-W .... 1 is equal to 1 with the original matrix version.

I won't be implementing that in this add-on.
I believe that it best provided by a separate service addon (eg.
https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=327514)
Ok great
That’s a great solution.... other than...
After much much pain, I managed to get it to create the strm files / metadata & then scrape them into Kodi; the films show up but nothing with playback - simply holds & then gives up...

LIT and PseudoLibrary are decent tools but still aren't great labeling and URL creation. PseudoLibrary is better at URL creation but lacks proper naming. What I do for Disney+ movies is add them to Kodi favorites and then take the URL in the favorites.xml file and put it in a .strm file with the correct naming. It's a few extra steps and why I only use that method for movies. I'll use PsuedoLibrary for TV shows, then manually rename all the .strm files(Huge pain).
I started looking at the addon code to try and add a "Add to Library" function, but with work, huge DVD project and not a lot of new Disney+ content I want to watch, I'll probably never get around to doing it. Or a better method like MediaImport will become available.
I'm using the Disney+ add-on with… intermittent success. Disclaimer: I'm using the OpenVPN to access Disney+ outside the US, but like I said, it's working occasionally – and perfectly, every time, on my iPhone.
Most often my though, Kodi is unable to log me in at all, just giving me a "Failed to login" error popup.
I'm running LibreELEC 9.2.3 on a 4GB Rpi4.
Here's my debug logs:

Hello matthuisman,
Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019
LG Oled = TV
Kodi 18.7 ( 18.7.200 )
Kodinerds 19 Matrix ( 10.06.2020 )
Disney+ Version 0.2.9
Series: "The Mandalorian"
The same problem: If you fast forward to the end credits of an episode and about 1 minute before the episode is completely over on the timeline,
the Dolby Vision Icon or HDR Icon will be output to the TV set several times every second.
Kodi 18.7 Leia ( 18.7.100 ) = not OK
Kodi 18.7 Leia ( 18.7.200 ) = not OK
Kodinerds 19 Matrix ( 01.06.2020 ) = OK
Kodinerds 19 Matrix ( 10.06.2020 ) = OK
Could it be that for Kodi Leia a commint was not used for this?
Backportation
Just tested ...have the same Problem with the Nvidia Shield TV 2015 ...but only with the HDR Icon.
In the last Minute from an Episode HDR Icon on and HDR Icon off.
Thanks for the info
...could you create a testbuild with this Kodi 19 Matrix PR as back-port for Kodi 18 Leia ... so I can test it?
