Good day,

pretty straightforward request, does anyone know how I can remove the chapter info on the top left of the OSD ?

ive been messing around with the xml files but i cant seem to find where to edit so i can remove that info

thanks
Thank you for creating and sharing this. This skin quite literally has all the things I always wished I could change - and now I can! Wish I discovered it sooner. Thanks again

Edit: Found a bug. I use CoreELEC (LibreELEC fork) and within the root Settings menu there is a "CoreELEC" menu icon that's missing from this skin. Shows up fine in the stock Estuary skin.

You can see it in this screenshot. Bottom left. https://images.app.goo.gl/Xu1V66uNaRvU3hLr7

My Estuary mod doesn't touch the file that generates that screen.  I believe the CoreELEC folks modify Estuary to add that and then ship that slightly modified Estuary skin with CoreELEC.

Correct CoreELEC includes a modified version of Estuary for which they added https://github.com/CoreELEC/xbmc/blob/am...#L114-L119

@neo_ based on that, it looks like the CoreELEC settings are an addon.  So you could enable the Favorites menu and add that addon as a Favorite.  I use OSMC for my main Kodi usage, and they have something similar.  With their default skin OSMC Settings is a main menu item, so I just add the addon to my favorites and can get to it using Estuary (or my Estuary mod).
It's also exactly the same kind of implementation as what's used for LibreELEC, which is in the completely stock Estuary https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/blob/master...#L114-L119 so it would be relatvely straight forward to modify the xml.

Thanks for the info! I will modify the settings.xml file
Edit: double post. Delete me
Yeah unfortunately editing those lines in settings.xml partially worked. The menu item appeared but the menu icon (coreelec.png) doesn't appear. Texture problem?

Additionally, "Restart Kodi' is missing from the power menu.

Unfortunately the fix is to switch back to the default estuary skin. As much as I love the features this skin provides, the multiple incompatibility problems with CoreELEC can't be overlooked. Function over form.

Not sure how updates are done for this mod, so make sure to keep copy of the setting.xml somewhere safe in case an update overwrites the change.
Hi. I have been using this skin for a while now and its great 👍 I have just started with Emby and have gotten everything synced to my local db but cant seem to get tv specials to appear in seasons. I have edited the display season and episode in the .nfo but it still doent show in the season. Is there anything else i need to do? Thank you very much 😊

If they are setup correctly, specials with different display seasons and episodes should show up in the right place.  That has nothing to do with my mod or any skin really.  I'd check with the standard Estuary, but I think you'll find if they aren't showing up in one skin, they won't show up in another.  You should probably ask the Emby folks about that issue (in case there is an issue with how they generate the NFO files) or in the OS/Independent forum here.  I tend to manually update the display season and episode in the database when I need to do that, so I've never tried with an NFO file.  Here's an example where I modified the database to add the display season so that a special shows up in the season with which it's associated:

As noted, I already did.  Because of how I do the mods, you can't "upgrade" from the Matrix version to the Nexus version.  You need to install a new repo (mentioned in the thread linked above) and then install the skin mod for Nexus.  If you really don't want to set things up again, you can copy the settings.xml file from userdata/addon_data/skin.estuary.matrix.pkscout.mod into userdata/addon_data/skin.estuary.nexus.pkscout.mod.  There are still a few things you'll need to fix or set, as there were some changes and additions to the settings, but that would get you like 90% of the way there.
