It does this on mine, it is a bug on 1.03 as this was not happening on 1.1. However, with mine it only seems to do it on one menu hub. I still have to do a video myself, but with Cartman being busy this week, then I have not done as yet, just so that it gives him time off and more importantly does not fill the thread with a lot of threads that he has to go through for when he comes back.

Alright that's tough to counter as non skin specific.
First, just to make sure - clear logo is not disabled in home screen settings right?
Next, can this be reproduced somehow using a legit addon? Does it occur on one addons or all plugin sourced?
If I could reproduce this issue I could probably understand where it went wrong pretty fast so that could help.
Other than that I'll look at the code again tomorrow l, maybe missed something...

Hello all, I am new to this forum but certainly not to Kodi.

I really love the Bingie skin, it is the best I have ever used for Kodi despite some little bugs here and there, but well done to you Cartman, you're a hero!
Regarding the issue of clearlogos not loading properly in version 1.0.3 RC some of you have experienced, including me, this is what I have done to fix it:

1. Open the includesbingie.xml file from skin.titan.bingie-1.0.2/xml folder with a text editor - I use Notepad++

2. Copy lines 672 to 687 (from <variable name="BingieInfoClearlogo"> to </variable>)

3. Open the includesbingie.xml file from skin.titan.bingie-1.0.3-RC2/xml folder with a text editor

4. Remove lines 672 to 682 (from <variable name="BingieInfoClearlogo"> to </variable>) and paste the ones you copied from 1.0.2 in there (line numbering may vary depending on your version of Kodi, I am using 1.0.3-RC2)

5. Save includesbingie.xml

6. Reload Bingie

I didn't expect it to be that simple but this is now working perfectly for me with all my widgets and addons in 1.0.3-RC2.

@cartman.dos I have a friend who's trying to get the "new episodes" tag to work in his addon. what property tag is Bingie looking for to provide the "new episode" tag?

he currently sets tags for 

UnWatchedEpisodes
TotalEpisodes
WatchedEpisodes
TotalSeasons

but those don't seem to do the trick

Neither of the 'traditional' infolabels. Kodi use window properties to save info on the last 10 added albums/movies/episodes, I use this data to check if an item is considered 'new'.

I have a couple of questions whether the following can be done within the skin settings:

1. Ability to hide the left main menu sidebar from appearing on the main home screen. That is it will only appear if scrolling all the way to the left. I prefer the clean look on the home screen

2. The ability to select the individual widget layout. e.g. Widget 1 Poster, Widget 2 landscape etc. This is useful where an addon would have the correct artwork for Poster, but not for landscape view (so defaults to fanart background). This could be configurable when editing widgets.

Currently using v1.03-RC2.

1) Currently only option to hide the slim-menu is by enabling 'circular navigation' in home screen settings. This will eliminate the slim menu but will also make the widget navigate 'infinitely', and to open the menu you need to press 'back' (this is how netflix used to be like before they introduced the menu).
Hiding the menu and keeping the same 'navigation' is something that can be done, but not at this phase as I believe this two options are covering most users' needs and am currently targeting bugs mainly in order to release next update shortly.
2) Read the third post in this thread. ('good to know' section).
Configuring individually is not possible with fixed vertical navigation due to the base titan structure of the widgets configuration. It's something that I want to implement someday but massive changes and transition to completely independent bingie skin will be required first to support this feature.

Im facing a strange behavior

every time I play a video, no matter the source (either addon or local library) I get the seek bar shown permanently and I cant seem to get rid of it when I dismiss the OSD panel

is this a bug or intended? and is there a way to disable it?

Firstly the pictures of the OSD display I am using a PC computer, however, some of you are using a Pi and some android. This does not happen in windows, so it is not a bug with the skin.

You really need to before you report bugs etc, at least have a PC set up so that you can test on, so you can check if it is a problem in general or on one system.

I am now on 1.3 you have kind of thrown me a curve ball here. When I pause a TV episode now, I get the display at the bottom. I used to love the netflix pause, where it would be in white, on the screen simple. I now have a picture, TV show, episode, the current time, what time it finishes, the genre, and not forgetting the pause icon at the end.

All what I need now, is next weeks lottery numbers to be displayed when I pause. I keep pausing something now, just to see if I like it or not, I really cannot decide. It looks clean and tidy I will have to try it on a movie to see what happens.

However, I think that potentially if you do not mind me giving you feedback, if you don't then tough as I have typed it now and my delete key does not work lol

1) You have the episode (line 2) It looks like that is the main focus it seems more prominent when I look at it. I personally think that the TV show (as I have not tried a movie) should be the bold, and then episode should be muted 
2) The pause icon at the end really needs to be in white, rather than grey, make it stand out more, I am not sure if it will look good as a red or green, but a bright blinding white would make it stand out more

Ok I can see what is happening now, damm you man, you made me stop the TV show that I was watching, and try a movie.

The movie is top line where it is now playing is where the TV show is, and then the movie is where the episode is.

I know (or I presume) you cannot do anything about this, but it kind of throws things off balance, as then you would have now playing as bold and in your face for movies, but the actual movie would be muted. It is a shame that you cannot create multiple pause screens.

The only way would be to have the top line bold and then replace the lines.

You are the boss though, so just ignore everyone else apart from me I shall try and do a video tomorrow with the small faults on home screen tomorrow, the one that I mentioned about getting loads of icons on the screen at once has gone, it still happens but only for a split second.

As always much love and thank you for your continued work. I honestly did not expect to find a netflix style skin, nor to enjoy a black skin theme again.

It sounds like you're not using the bingie video osd, maybe?
In skin settings -> osd/playback -> do you have bingie video osd enabled? do you have show information on pause disabled?
(both should be auto-set when transitioning to the latest RC but just to make sure)
A screenshot will really help as well...(if it's still an issue)

good I love this skin but I have a suggestion if it were possible to put in BINGIE osd the media information in some way

Since there are 3 OSD (two of them has media flags) options I'm not willing to add more info/complexity to current bingie osd. This I might do when Bingie will be a standalone skin with ONE osd.

I think the audio stream language setting is broken in 1.0.3 RC2. It works on 1.0.2.  Looks like it's just skipping over the setting 1.0.3 for some reason

which setting are you referring? not sure if you're speaking of kodi settings/skin/video info/osd... 

I'm looking at moving from the old/first version of Titan bingie MODE v0.3 to this version as it's being updated. The problem I'm running into is with the option "Auto-align widgets to the right". I want to use the option but the current Titan BINGIE changed how it works, making it kinda useless (IMHO). Is there an option I'm missing other than the "Auto-align widgets to the right" toggle?

Without "Auto-align widgets to the right" selected - Widget/posters start/grow from the left and display/wrap as you expect.


With "Auto-align widgets to the right" selected - pushes the widgets to the right and you can only see 1.3ish posters that wrap/scroll. It appears that the widgets/posters are still coming from the "left" but a large empty space was added between the sidebar and the beginning of the widgets to move them to the right.


How it behaved in Titan bingie MODE v0.3 - The widgets/posters now start/grow from the right hand side and display/scroll correctly.
 

I would recommend using the Bingie layout in skin settings. From what I understand, every layout other than 'Bingie' has been on the back burner   

If that's the case then I'll just stick with the old v0.3 and maybe check back on this version in 6 months or so. Thanks.  

I'll check what changed that could have done this in v1, but it is true that not much has changed for non-bingie layouts since beside general skin bugs.
I also need to implement Right-To-Left for bingie sometime in the future (it's not easy tho, that's why I haven't done it yet).

hey, I noticed while using liked trakt lists with a particular addon, that the lists only worked as widgets on the home hub but would not work on any of the other hubs.. are widgets handled differently somehow in the hubs/home?

Both are set by skinshortcuts...so I'd say shouldn't be different in that regard.

I have a small but great issue to me (using 1.03 but this happend for me also in 1.02), from home bingie just before the movie starts, all the widgets are getting couple jumps, sometimes this jumping widgets happening after the refresh of the widgets, but almost allways before the movie starts...

I believe what is happening is:
1) you're using addon source -> takes time to load url and buffer
2) dialog info must be closed for the kodi videoplayer to start (kodi behaviour, thus you're seeing home while it is loading)
3) videoplayer calls directory(widget) refresh
4) the jump/glitch/shuffle is caused from the refresh of the widget

My PR for Kodi core stops this annoying refresh behavior, I can't share an installation but maybe someone here could for your platform...

This is what I did, I replaced the 5 files (including the two you mentioned in your response to me) that were recently changed from your github in the "small adjustments & fixes" commit (DialogSeekBar.xml, IncludesAnimations.xml, IncludesBingie.xml, IncludesHubs.xml, View_525_Bingie_Episodes.xml)

These are the results:

1- the "Play" button on addon sourced spotlight widgets works perfectly now, Thank you
2- The seekbar bug: The seekbar now hides perfectly even if I change the selection action (play, show info, etc) but there is still the black halo that appears around the video when the OSD appears
3- the Jump back one directory level bug using the show info section action: the bug still exists , I always get kicked back one level up if the selection action is "show information"

here is a video for Bugs 2 and 3, clicking play on the information panel will kick me back one level up (bug 3), then you will see a black halo appears around the video area (bug 2)

Great, the first one I can fix (vignette mask osd). The kick to parent dir I'm not sure there is something skin related causing this, can u reproduce with a debug log?
Lastly, the episodes view is probably some currupt files or something of that nature. Try to replace all skin files with the ones on git.

hello, i just tried the latest version of WIP
when i press ' i ' for information and seekbar but i didn't see the seekbar
is this a bug? cause i need that seekbar to see how far the video progress
cause when another way for seeing seekbar is press ' m ' but you make this function to be paused when the user press the button

please tell me what's going on? if this is on purpose at least make an option for that in the skin settings
