@jurialmunkey This looks great. One suggestion/request for the Showcase Hub would be have the skin default set the Submenu hub widget as the Submenu item.

e.g submenu "Recent items" would have its hub widget default to "Recent items". You could then change or turn off as needed. hope that makes sense.

Is there any way to get this working on Kodi v.17? Really digging the skin but my main setup still uses DSplayer.

It might work if you reduce the xbmcgui dependency but there are few areas that rely on features in the skinning engine that were added with Leia, so it is highly likely that some areas will be broken.

Hey JurialMunkey, Ive got a big problem. This skin is soo good that im not gonna wanna try any others for a long while. The performance is outstanding, even with a heavy amount of widgets all set up with TMDB helper and DrInfernoos Autorotate addon. A whole new level all around. Views are perfect, everything is pretty dam perfect. Kudos to you brother. No issues here. Love

Haha! Almost had me in the first part, ngl. Big Grin

Yeah big props to DrInfernoo - his autowidget addon really puts the possibilities for widget setup into a whole new league. And also just for his help with testing, manning the repo, and other little improvements/fixes here and there.

Loving the submenu hub. Still trying to get my head around it all, but is it possible to use the submenu hub as the main page for a given item on the home screen without having to click on the side bar item to access it, so basically just pressing right from the side bar to access it? I just love the layout of the submenu items in this view. Thanks.

Not yet, but I'm hoping to be able to have this as an option for the fullscreen widget (the widget shown when no widgets are set).
Basically want to have the option between displaying the current fullscreen widget, the submenu hub or the showcase hub.

1. Its not possible because it causes problems if the item is not a folder.
2. Should be fixed now.

Also, please refrain from clogging the thread by reposting the same question/post over and over. Just because I didn't respond immediately doesn't mean I didn't see the post.

Hi jurialmunkey,

Didn't get a chance to update you yesterday. The "up next" in the channels guide is indeed fixed. And you were correct that season/episode info does not populate.

Image

The recordings folder looks like this now (previously reported by hoppel118):

Image

And lastly, the "find next" activity is returning date and time info, but no season/episode or plot info. Curiously, in AH the lag time for info return is 45 seconds to a minute while in Estuary its almost immediate. Now I have really poor internet speeds (ah, the joys of rural living), so my assumption (yeah, I know  Smile ) is that AH is reaching out to gather the info while Estuary is feeding from my Schedules Direct file. Not sure that's relevant, but thought I would offer my observations for what they're worth.

And Estuary:

Need I say it, but your work is making these trying times just a bit more bearable. Thank you.

Thank you very much for your great work on this new skin.

I want to tell you two things:

1. I have observed that when I "click" on the "VIDEOCLIPS" menu and submenus that I have created, a new "video" window will open without any content.
(Works perfectly on AZ2 and Estuary skin).

2. In the information window of a "video clip", when you click on the "play" button, it does not play it and goes back to the previous screen. I have "Play Album Script" installed.
The widgets perfectly display the content of my "video clips" and play well using the "play" context menu.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you.

What is "VIDEOCLIPS"? Do you mean music videos?

Hello again @jurialmunkey.

Yes. "VIDEOCLIPS" I mean music videos.
Sorry for the bad expression and thanks for everything.

Keep safe.
@jurialmunkey

In my first message I told you that I had found two problems with "MUSIC VIDEOS" ("VIDEOCLIPS")

1. The first one has been fixed.
SOLUTION: Looking at the problem, I noticed that the names of some of my files contained the character ","
I renamed these files by removing that character. Now the "music video" menu and submenus works as it should.

2. The second problem continues.
For some reason "Play Album Script" considers music videos to be an audio music album and cannot be played from the "play" icon in the information window. (The same happens in the AZ2 skin).

I wonder if you can remove the dependency from this script, in order to play a music video from the info window. (Other skins do it without depending on "Play Album Script")

Thank you so much for everything.
My native language is not English. Sorry for my expressions.
