WIP Arctic Horizon
How can I remove the information at the bottom left when using a background image on a menu item? I just want a clean image when for the menu item to launch Steam or Bigbox. Alternatively, how could I place any custom information there? It seems like when I choose a widget item, the background will change to the theme default (blur in this case).

I've added Favourites as an item in the Home Menu but I can't figure out how to add a Favourites Widget to show the favourited items. Has it not been added yet? Thanks, I really love the customization features available in this skin!
When choosing a widget go to...
Additional widgets > Skin Helper Service Widgets > Favourites (at the bottom of the list)
... then select Favourites.
I don't have the "Skin Helper Service Widgets" in the Additional Widgets menu. I checked my Add-ons and I had Skin Helper Service (1.1.3/marcelveldt) installed. But then I found Skin Helper Service Widgets (1.0.22/marcelveldt) in the Kodi repository and installed it. But after reloading the skin I still don't see the option for it under Additional Widgets, it just shows Playlists and Library Data Provider. Is something else missing?
Try rebooting/restarting Kodi?

Upgraded to Matrix so I’m without AZ2 now. I’ll switch to this when you’ve had a chance to make it Matrix compatible. I only ever use the artic skins for years. Can’t wait to see it soon.

The default branch for the Arctic Horizon github repo is now the Matrix version:

https://github.com/jurialmunkey/skin.arctic.horizon/

There is an issue thread with the current Matrix issues:

Hmm. I did download the latest Kodi 19 and 5.5.1 Horizon yesterday but it didn’t even allow it to be activated. It complained about incorrect python versions, and incorrect Kodi versions or something. And then a bunch of other errors as well. So I’m stuck with confluence for now.

I’m on MacOS Catalina.

You'll need to install 0.5.59 (or later) from the repo.

Using the recent matrix addon with the latest matrix release.

For addons with one option on this page the option is selected and I am able to access it with 'OK' on my remote.

On a page with more than one option using the remote directional keys does nothing. The only was to select anything is to move a mouse over one of the options then the directional keys work.

I assumed this would be resolved in the official release of your matrix addon.

I think there is some confusion because "repo" can mean different things in different contexts.  There is the Kodi add-on repo concept (which is linked above).  If you download and install that add-on repo for Matrix, I don't think you will find Arctic Horizon there (yet).  The other "repo" is a GitHub repo, which is where code can be stored (and downloaded as a zip). Right now if you want to use AH on Matrix, you need to download a zip from the Github repo.  Here's the post where I link to the Github repo where you can download the zip file to use for install on Kodi Matrix.

I was able to install AH on Matrix from the repository using a File Manager location today.  In other words, I didn't have to manually download any zip files.  Initially, the AH skin install failed.  Then I tried installing Skin Helper and TMDBH individually first, after which AH installed successfully.

Yea, I see that AH is now in jurlialmunkey's actual alpha repo. That should make things easier.
