Yup, totally on my end. I have a working Movies option again after I re-added Movies to the -empty- slot and deleted the original I somehow broke

Hi - having acouple issues with subtitles and this skin

1.) Sometimes I would like to browse for subtitles that are in the same folder but don't have the same name as the video file. To do that, I have to enable subtitles before I can browse for the subtitle file.

If there is no subtitle file present with the same name and no embedded subtitles then enabling is not possible and you get this error: 



It would be ideal if subtitles - configure was available in the same menu as enable subtitles -- is there some config file i can edit to make that happen?

2.) When you want to sync subtitles there seems to be a significant delay before the video shows maybe something like 10 seconds so you are stuck on this screen: 



so often you are trying to sync without being able to see any picture

Both of these things were not an issue in MQ8

Just upgraded from 18.9 with Aeon MQ8 to 20.0 with Aeon MQ9. So far am very pleased overall. Many great improvements. Some things I was wondering...

1.) Is there any way to universally change the menu type and settings for a given level? As an example, after I select an artist I get view Type-11 view by default with a sort order by album. It prefer Type-04 with a sort order by year. So is there some way to make that default so I don't have to manually change it for every artist? Same question applies for things like movie collections. That defaults to Type-02 which looks bad when there are only a couple of movies in the collection since it just repeats over and over.

I don't know if that makes sense. I guess what I am basically asking is if there is a way to set defaults so when I looking at music, artists show with Type-X, albums show with Type-Y, and tracks with Type-Z? And along the same lines, is it possible to find out how the skin decides which view types will be available?

2.) Are there only two view types for music artists? All I see are type-01 and type-11. Both of those are list formats and I was hoping to find something more graphical like cover art, band logos, or wall formats?

3.) On the widgets for the top level menu items, is there any way to scale the cover art? It looks like the size of the images increased quite a bit from MQ8. I'd like to be able to reduce them back down if possible.

Sorry if these are just ignorant user errors. But I've been messing around for a while now and can't seem to find a way to change these things. Again, this upgrade is a great improvements overall. Thanks for all the hard work!!!

Check out the MQ9 Multi-Mod it has features the fill your first and second requests. I don't know enough about widgets to answer the question.

Thank you. Just finished installing the mod and it looks great. And it definitely addressed my second question. I plan on reading the updates and fixes lists. Looks like there's a lot to go through there.

There is an option in the top menu to Use Forced Views. That's what you are looking for.

Yes, are available to Matrix 19.5, Nexus 29.2, and Omega 21.0, via Kodi Repository. Anyway, need a few fixes to use with Nexus and Omega.

I don´t know if Marcos will update MQ9 via the official Kodi Repository. 

Available in the Kodi Repository MQ9 - 1.6.0 version.

I have Kodi Matrix on a Fire TV Cube, so far with MQ8 Mod.
When installing and activating MQ9, it just shows a complete black screen with the question if I want to keep the skin activated.
As there is nothing displayed, I am afraid to confirm and then being locked out as there is nothing any more on the screen. So I click no. Tried multiple times, screen for MQ9 always blank.
I had used MQ5 to MQ8 in the past without such issues. Is that known behaviour? What to do?

The skin doesn´t have any dependence to download, so it´s hard to say something, I install Nexus recently in one Xbox X without any issues. Better close and try again, it´s one new skin, so no prob in installation, use nothing from your previous MQ skin.

Hello, i have 1 request and 1 issue.

Request : i know about the tag for HDR, 10bit, the filename need to be .10bit. and .hdr. but can you also make the tag works without the dot like "hdr" to replace ".hdr." or with a space like " hdr " because i don't have dot in my filename and i would like to keep like this. Is it possible? thanks in advance.

I tested on an Android Tablet, same behaviour. Black screen, only asking if I want to keep skin activated. So I clicked yes, and only then did the skin perform a setup and loaded. Same afterwards on my Fire TV. So this is „standard“ behaviour for this skin, a hint on that would be helpful.

Hi, thank you for the MQ9 so I finally updated to Nexus.
Still some issues and it feels some how on some places a bit unfinished but i can live with that and fix by my self. Also missing some small things from MQ8, maybe I try to port them (on some views missing duration time, on some places no clock, etc.)
I'm struggling when using intelligent playlists as menu and there is no counter on main menu and also not inside the section on the top folder where all series or movies are displayed. Yes there are records listed with the playlist so that's not the problem . This was working on MQ8.

Link to the screenshots as I cannot add images. Top Left Bar View-01 , Main Menu , Counter OK, No Playlist used

On the other side the menus linked directly to the resource works well, so there is a condition missing to use other counting functions for playlists.
I identified the part where the top left bar is displayed but could not find the section where the values are presented generated.
Can some one help me and put me in the right direction?

In the latest hours, I´m working to compile Kodi Omega to work with Windows UWP, a work in progress.  I have a version installed on my PC, but I  need try to install Xbox X.
