TV rips are 29.97/59.94....I capture concerts from backhaul feeds that are 29.97 too. Tons of nice HD content. But it can't play properly on HiMedia. Boo!

WeTek Core suffers from same issue.Linux / OpenELEC running on Intel gear has issues with Interlaced VC-1 content as well. It cannot Hardware decode it.
I see another 170+ total BD's w/29.97 in AVC/H.264 here.
Just my opinion, but don't think 29.97/59.94 in VC-1/H.264 is a deal-breaker. But, maybe I'm wrong.

What media is actual using 29.97/59.94 ?

looun just e-mailed me a short demo of a new UyeSee Hisilicon 3798M S1000 box, which appears to show full BD-Java menus supported. A UyeSee sales guy had recently contacted me, but had said no plans to release product outside China. Anyway, have contacted him back to ask about this box as it certainly looks intriguing...

That 'UyeSee' box is using a HiSilicon chipset from late 2014. '3798M'. It's the same as in the HiMedia M3.
The new 2016 HiMedia boxes use a new, and much more capable, chipset 'Hi3798C V200'. Some info on chipsets here (my site, sorry): http://www.iboum.com/artkill/chipsets.ph...idchipsets

Yes - think it requires Windows?
