When I finally get around to getting on the official repo it will be installed and used automatically with the skin - I just made it optional for the time being (and use estuary genre icons instead) so that it doesn't cause install conflicts because the genre pack isn't available on a repo yet.

When Krypton was in alpha/beta it used to be called library settings. I used Arctic Zephyr as a base for fuse(neue) and thus a base for Horizon and I never ended up changing the label. Guess I should do that so it is consistent with Estuary.

4. Option to set the background for each home screen item to random fanart.

I've enabled setting backgrounds that are smart playlists. There are a few included with the skin which should be useful like Random Movies or Random Albums. The skin will take fanart from the playlist. Just set the background the normal way, you should see options for your playlists alongside single and multi image.

One suggestion would be that if you add tv show next aired widget to the homepage, it would be nice to see the date the episodes are airing next. Great skin and I love it so far!

Added to landscape widgets

The "Match colors with poster" is a great addition and I love it, but there are some colors that makes the left menu complete unreadable (just the highlighted option) because it uses white font over very clear and light colors.
Could you add something (like a shadow behind the text, or change the font color from white to black) to fix it?

Another thing, is that while I'm in the main menu, the colors doesn't stop to change all the time, is this done on purpose or it is a bug?

Yeah, giving the text a drop shadow doesn't help much. I'm not really sure of any way to reliably switch the text colour from white to black (because some other colours will need white text). I've found visibility is only really a problem for some blue-green colours and maybe the odd yellow. The vast majority seem to be readable to me. Though I'm not really sure what the solution is for the unreadable ones at this stage.

Yeah the colour change is on purpose. Basically when there isn't a poster to pull the colour from, there is a folder of color pngs swatches that are cycled through to pull the colour. Ideally I would only change it on movement but I haven't figured out a way to do that yet.

Haha, I just realised what your issue is -- Turn off Kiosk Mode in Skin Settings > Miscellaneous.

Kiosk mode prevents you from changing viewtypes, installing addons, and altering addon settings.

u r right... I've totally forgot that. Activated kiosk mode recently so that my wife can't crash the system... Thx for the hint! ;-)

Blurayx -- I've managed to fix this. Well, I've added an option to enable mouse / touch support for widgets. Enabling it will limit your widgets to two per menu item, and you cant use the small categories widget with it, but it should work properly with mouse and touch now.

Skin Settings > Home > Mouse and touch compatible widgets

Could you please test and make sure it is working for you, as I do not have a touch device and so have to assume that if it works with the mouse it works with touch. Cheers.

Just installed latest, is the option to switch rating/flags in views gone? Every view I only see the stars and rating, can't see that option that was on the side menu I think was "Display rating" or such

Tv Shows don't have media flags so there isn't an option (files have codec info, not folders). You can toggle it at the episode level.

The main reasons are:
1. Frequency of updates - There are limits on how frequently the repo can be updated (no more than once a fortnight unless requiring a very major bugfix, and ideally only once a month at the most). Whilst I'm still making fairly big changes it is easier to manage not being on the repo because it stops from getting feature requests and bug reports that have already been addressed, and also stops having to answer when are you going to update the repo type questions.

2. Freedom to make big changes - Once the skin is on the repo it becomes a bit harder to make big changes. I can always add features and make tweaks and improvements, but completely removing features or making significant changes to existing features is a different story. Basically, not being on the repo lets me be in "developer mode" so that I don't have to justify my decisions as much.

That being said, things are getting pretty stable I think, so I will probably submit sometime in the next week actually.
