With the Multi-Mod, you just copy and paste the files into the skin folder.

@fuorigioco1981
You can see the release date from the Video Info screen. In Kodiflix, you can enable the fanart shadow that allows you to see the plot better on light backgrounds.

@steven_76

I have uploaded a file to my mega account, explaining all of this and how to replace all the white media flags with all the colored icons you could possibly want as well as detailed instructions on how to get them to show up. I know not everyone knows exactly what is going on behind the scenes with theming, so I may come across as redundant, over explanatory or (i hope you don't feel this way) like I am talking to you like you're stupid. I just dont want you getting confused and it feel like you're being told to build an ATOM bomb. lol. So, Here is the link. There are very detailed instructions on each step. It is quite easily done once you do it the first time and my instructions make it as though I am right there with you, telling you each step. I hopethis helps you as well as many others. If it has, please hit that button.
Hello. Thanks for this. However, folder two is empty. There is no resource.images.studios.white or resource.images.studios.coloured folders.

I did copy the media folder, and have colored icons. But now all the watched flags are gone. Any ideas?

Sorry for taking so long to reply, you need to have those installed first. Multi-Mod can direct you to the addons and then repeat the steps to overwrite the textures.xbt in the studio icons.

As for the watched flags, 2 questions:
1) Have you tried flagging your movie as watched? To do so, you must long press your select button (whatever you use for making your selection) while on a movie>go down to mark as watched. Did that make your flags appear?
2) Did you backup the "textures.xbt" from "skin.aeonmq8\media"? Try this, with that tool I included, extract the textures.xbt to a folder OUTSIDE of "skin.aeonmq8" (like on your desktop)>copy all the files from within "skin.aeonmq8\media" into the new folder with all the extracted resources>overwriting ALL files>when completed, copy all the files (not the new folder) back into "skin.aeonmq8\media" and overwrite everything there.

Note: I haven't updated to the newest version of Multi-Mod, so there may be assets that the skin is looking for that was not included in my archive I provided you. You should definitely do the last part that I suggested.
Note 2: June 12, 2020 update is the last I used, so you should download all the updates from that one to the most recent and extract each one to the external folder (like I suggested creating on on the desktop), overwriting everything until you're at the most recent update. THEN copy all the files from within "skin.aeonmq8\media" over to the extract folder (the one the tool extracted to), overwriting all files, then copy back to "skin.aeonmq8\media" and overwrite everything. This should get you sorted out and have all the latest files that I didn't provide. Sorry for leaving that part out last night, I was tired and forgot all about this.
I now have my flags back and full color icons. Thanks for your help! During this process I did notice an issue that maybe you or someone else could help me with. Before this I noticed that all videos are marked as 8-bit and SDR, regardless of the resolution. Now, they are all marked HDR10+, regardless of the resolution. Any ideas?

The latest update does not contain past updates, but you can download the Multi-Mod from the first post as it contains all the updates.

@RobinTW

I have a request about song title display in fullscreen mode. If the song title is too long, it is truncated. Is it possible to make it rolling?

I would like to insert images here for better explanation, but can't figure out how. Thanks in advance.

You can download the colored flags Add-ons here. Then go to Skin Settings > Icons and Images, and select all the colored Add-ons for each item.

@RobinTW
I have enabled scrolling for the title on all layouts. It will be part of the next update.

You betcha! All the colored media flag files you downloaded need to be installed in Kodi like other Add-ons.
