Hello everyone,

I Use TVheadend for recording and watching local broadcast TV.  The Backend is on a media server and multiple devices get their live TV, DVR recordings and other media from that machine.  I love this skin,  but the only thing I'm missing is artwork for recorded shows. 

For instance,  When highlighting a Show folder,  there is no poster displayed to the right.


Also, when highlighting an episode, there is no show specific thumb on the right.  The network logo is displayed instead.


and lastly,  when displaying media info durring playback or pause,  there is no poster below the disk animation.
 
Could anyone share how I can get this artwork to be scraped and displayed automatically?  I've tried everything I can think of from the "Artwork Options" context menu.

1.In order to translate the convenience of other languages, it is recommended to modify the following:

v.06/02/19 SkinSettings.xml
3501|<label>blue</label> blue change to 32510
3509|<label>orange</label> orange change to 32511
3517|<label>purple</label> purple change to 32512

v.06/02/19 strings.po
#32510 Blue theme change to Blue
#32511 Orange theme change to Orange
#32512 Purple theme change to Purple

2.How to get the above three themes? when I open the above theme, the background is black.

3.The red frame is the translation of strings.po, but the corresponding language that has been translated cannot be displayed.Blue frame is not yet added to strings.po. please adj...

hi i am working on windows 10 with this skin , when it comes to the themes have you included pumpkin nothing seems to be showing up but all others seem ok thanks for your advice

I'm testing your AeonMQ mod on a Kodi fork. I noticed a couple of small issues when using the KodiFlix view for tv shows.

The text on the right side at the bottom (seasons, episodes, unwatched) is rather difficult to read. The font color is darkgrey on a black background.

When texture base is set to white (skin settings, colours) and invert colors is enabled, there's a strange glow at the bottom bar.

Are these bugs?



And can you explain please where the dark shadows at the right and left side of the fanart images are for? Imho it makes the fanart unnecessary dark.

Thanks for another update!!

I copied the update over and started KODI but found that the menu bar doesn't stretch from end to end as it used to. You can see the Movies page library status hangs off and in the Weather page the word spring hangs off and it doesn't extend all the way across on the other end either.

 

What can I do to fix this?

P.s. as a test I copied over the "home.xml" file from the update before this one just to see the result and while it's length was correct it was at the wrong horizontal level........hun?

Hmm...I thought I fixed that. I had to resize the menu bar image to add the neon effect. I'll take a look. Did you use the new Textures file in the update?

Yes the new texture file is in there. I copied the entire package as I always do.

Your mod is really cool

But i have some problems. The language flags for audio and subs will not displayed, gui language is german. But @890329 has posted an info for this.

For my other problems, please look at the screenshots for info.

Yes, the neon menu bar displays the same way, incomplete across the screen width.

For a temporary fix I uncompressed the textures.xbt file, left all the folders and images. Deleted the textures.xbt file and then copied over just "the menu bar" images from the textures.xbt file from the update just before this one and it works for the menu bar I use. For the life of me I can't get the textures app. to recompile the items in the media folder and give me a singular textures.xbt file........I always get the textures.xbt file but it's size is always 0.
What am I doing wrong?

I'm running Kodi on a INTEL NUC only with libreelec. I first installed the original MQ8 and than overwrite the hole mod folder into \\IP\Userdata\addon_data\skin.aeonmq8 but the mod still doesn't work for me. What am I doing wrong

You overwrite in the wrong place, is in addon folder, no in addon_data, there Kodi saves skin settings only.

@latts9923, my tip for you continue the same, create a complete skin, with a new ID Name, all these users, when Marcos release next version, will lose the mod code, and errors will come, because skin settings are not the same.

That is a wrong way. Copy to the following folder.
/storage/.kodi/addons/skin.aeonmq8

Now there is just one problem left. How can I get the animated posters running? I'v enabled all the flags in artwort beef and added "animatedposter" in the settings. I've also added advancedsettings.xml in my \\IP\Userdata with

<advancedsettings>
<videoextensions>
  <add>.gif</add>
</videoextensions>
</advancedsettings>

But still no animated Posters. Any ideas why?
