Mod Aeon MQ 9 Mod for Kodi 21 (Omega)
@latts9923

I moved to a GoogleTV device and found out they do not have a "File Manager" app. Sideloading apps is also blocked (although now and then some hacking pops-up, thet gets fixed in the next OS update). While there are (very few) options on the PlayStore of File Apps compatible with Android TV, I recalled that Kodi has a File Manager...

Unfortunately it seems that MarcosQ never implemented this option on the skin, or at least I wasn't able to find it (while it is easily available on Estuary). Am I right that the File Manager is not implemented? Or is it there a way to access it from the AeonMQ skin?

If not implemented, any chance this can make the "wish list"?  Shy

Thanks a lot for your work !!!

latts9923 answered that:
Quote:2. From Settings in the main menu, hit down twice to open the submenu and you will see the link for the Files Manager.
Total Commander and X-plore are fine File managers and work on GoogleTv

@Maxi There are 2 (two) methods you can access "FILES MANAGER" in MQ9 latts9923 mod.
1. Go to SYSTEM --> SETTINGS --> CUSTOMISE MAIN MENU pick one of the "EMPTY" MAIN MENU entries --> REPLACE THIS MENU WITH... SETTINGS --> FILES MANAGER.
2. From main GUI menu scroll left or right to get to "VIDEO ADD ONS" (I think this is the one or "PROGRAMS. I modified/customized this and do not remember exactly) and click "down" arrow on your remote to select "SUB MENU" FILES MANAGER selection is there.

@latts9923 I just realized that "CUSTOMISE MAIN MENU" in SETTINGS is misspelled.

I think there's even a third option. When you press the letter S, you should see a pop up menu containing the item File Manager.

@MB1968 You are correct if one uses keyboard.

@Maxi
You're welcome!

@andrzejls
It displays as "CUSTOMISE MAIN MENU" if you're using the default English (UK) language. If you use "ENGLISH (US)" as your language it will display as "CUSTOMIZE MAIN MENU".

@latts9923 Ha..Ha..ha. Laugh I always left it as "English", being default language. Did not even realize there was a choice of "English(US)". Learn something new everyday. Thanks.

Hello all,

I'm looking for some assistance to point me in the right direction.

I would like to know whether there is any toggle in the skin settings, which permit to switch on an off the Fullscreen Music view, in order when starting playing music ( song or playing list), the view to swithc directly to Fullscreen Music view. This permit to have the lyrics started in the same moment when the music starts, and have it synchronized.

In the other hand, Fullscreen Music view have to be switched off when browsing videos ( movies or shows) which have music themes playing during that browsing, otherwise the player is blocked.

Thank you in advance for your help
Regards

You can access that setting by going to SETTINGS ► MEDIA ► MUSIC and enable "SWITCH TO VISUALIZATION ON PLAYBACK".

I would really love to try this skin, but I can't seem to get it installed. I have an Nvidia Shield pro 2019. This skin does not show up when I click Get More, so I searched in the repository browser and found it, but when I click install I get an error that the dependency on xbmc.gui version 5.15.0 cold not be satisfied.

Should I not be able to install this skin on my device?

I run this skin on 2 Nvidia Shields. See post #1 of this thread for help.

Apologies if I am missing something obvious, but I don't see where post #1 helps with the issue I mentioned.

Did you install the latest version of the mod from Latts’s repo? Is your Kodi Omega install running correctly and was it installed from either the Google Store or by dl from the official Kodi site? It’s not an issue with running on a Shields as many of us here run on Shields. That dependency issue is not one I have seen before.
