At the episode level context menu there used to be a "play only this episode" or similar. Is this easy to put in place? Got to be honest we can't remember which skin we used it on but it's a feature we have found we miss.

Hmm...I don't think I've ever seen that button in a skin. That almost sounds like it was part of a video add-on.

1. You have a few options for main menu fanart. If you press down twice from Movies to access the Smart Submenu, you can select "CUSTOMISE MAIN MENU". Highlight Movies and on the right you will see your fanart options starting with "CHANGE BACKDROP - ONE IMAGE".
2. Go to SKIN SETTINGS > CONTEXTUAL ART. On the right you will see "FLAG STYLE".

1 - when choosing this option it then looks for a directory - same with "multiple images." I use emby which scrapes for me. It downloads artwork also for the Emby server. So all the icons and posterwork are contained within the directories that are specific to each movie aka THE FLASH, ALIENS etc. If I choose a higher directory say "MOVIES" which is the level up from the movies I get nothing. The "higher level" skins will pull random fanart from TV and Movies from within all of those individual directories. I can't seem to replicate that.

Hello, I've noticed some inconsistencies with artwork, can these please be addressed? Let me know if you have any questions.

Movies 
Movie Sets - Kodi Flix view - Large Delay of background art where the fanart disappears/reverts to the main menu art screen (see video) 

Video shows artwork displaying...then disappearing for a period of time then displaying again... i'm not sure exactly what's happening...

TV Shows - View 24 - upper right corner art should be "Landscape" or "Thumb" Art (Landscape or thumb is the same artwork with different names in my case)

TV Show Seasons - View 24 - Fanart (background art) does not cycle (in my case); Also upper right artwork should be seasonXX-landscape or seasonXX-thumb

TV Show episodes - View 17 - no tv show art showing; I feel as if the most proper artwork to be displayed would be seasonXX-landscape or seasonXX-thumb (it's the same artwork being pulled with different suffix's; this artwork displays a full wallpaper that indicates the season number); however, the most commonly utilized artwork is Fanart...use your best judgement what would satisfy the majority. 

TV Show Episode info - Artwork not displaying or cycling...seems to display whatever artwork was most recently cached


Music - Layout 6 - Lettering displays if "Show diffuse for disc art" and discart "If available" is enabled; Lettering should not display
"Stars" menu, add Batman Symbols and Valentines day Hearts

does anyone have an idea how to install the addon mediatyp? I just can not manage it? i try resource.images.mediaicons.coloured-0.3.1.zip, but i doesnt work at all

Hhmm.  I can't seem to get this to work either.  I use nfo's so I need to load in a mediatype pack.  When you click it there are no packs to select.  In MQ8 the videocodec pack would be available to use but not in MQ9

I'm also having an issue with some of the toggles under the organize menu.  Four of them in a row don't work for me.  "Audio and subtitle flags" "Language Flags Style" "Show Title On Top As" and "Country Flags" toggle.  If I change the toggles nothing happens at all.

1. That is odd...I do not have this problem with Sets artwork while using the KodiFlix view. The fanart code is the same for all views. This doesn't happen in other views?
2. I added the "FANART WINDOW" button to TV Shows. By default it will display the landscape artwork. You can switch to "TV SHOW FANART" to display fanart.
3. If I switch to "TV SHOW FANART" in Seasons, it cycles through the TV Show's fanart for me. I changed the code to display the Season's landscape art and changed the label to display "LANDSCAPE ART" instead of "SEASON FANART".
4. If you have "ARTWORK HELPER" enabled, Episodes should display the Season fanart. If it was missing, it would revert to the default TV Show background. I changed the code to display the TV Show fanart if the Season fanart is missing.
5. The Episode info page background should behave the same after the change.
6. Can you post a screenshot of Music layout 6? I'm not seeing anything out of place.
7. I can look at adding Batman and Valentine's Day stars.
8. I can navigate through all the "COLOURS" buttons. Do you have the latest Mod version 12 installed?

With MQ 9, the media flags are colored by default, so unless you want to display white icons the only media pack you really need to select is the record label.

If some buttons are not working correctly, you might need to perform a skin reset from SKIN SETTINGS > RESTORE SETTINGS.

Thanks Latts.  Unfortunately it didn't work.  I'm using a Vero V which is linux based.  I'm guessing there is a case sensitivity issue in the code somewhere.  For linux it matter but for windows it doesn't.  I've tried changing the file names to multiple different things and the media typoe flag won't show.  Is it possible to make one of the packs available so I can test it?  Also the buttons still don't work with a skin reset.  I'm guessing some kind of case sensitivity issue here as well.

• I added support for jurialmonkey's Wikipedia add-on. Please install jurialmunkey's repo to install the add-on. There is a new button in the context menu named "WIKIPEDIA". Thanks to Chalklands for the request!

*This update will require another skin reset for new settings to be forced to settings.xml. Hello, I need help!
After uninstalling my madvr setup configurate as default reader in my kodi setup, my kodi Nexus 20.2 no longer switches the refresh rate on video playback, even if the function is activated in kodi reader setup, I do not want to re-initialize the kodi file in rooming because I would like not to redo all my complex configuration !!
I'll take any hints from you!

Thanks.  I tested on a windows machine and I'm having the same issue with the media type flag.  The buttons to switch between the logo and text for the title do work though.  Something must be up with how the nfo is written.  Works fine with MQ8.

**  Really really weird.  The menu on my install is all messed up for the view type column.  I started messing with the buttons and got the logo to appear but something appears off with the linux install.  Check out the pic below. **
