I got the default and custom views list working. The default list will display by default. There is a new file named Includes_views.xml.custom that you will need to customize to display only the views you'd like to see. View Type-02 is commented out in this file as an example. The file can be updated while Kodi is running. After making changes, you can switch to the default views list and back to the custom list to see the updated views list.

I added View Type-28 to the forced views for Music Videos. Open Variables.xml and find "ForcedView_musicvideos". Below the line that has $LOCALIZE[41172] as the value, add this line...
xml:
<value condition="String.IsEqual(Skin.String(SkinHelper.ForcedViews.musicvideos),597)">$LOCALIZE[41184]</value>

@ElRippo
You're welcome!

This is great. THANKS. How can I get this file for testing/implementation?

I added this line as you instructed but for some reason View Type-28 is not listed.

You bet! There are quite a few code changes to get the custom views to work...it will have to wait until I get a new update posted.

Doh...forgot to tell you to change another file. Open extras/views.xml and find "Wall 3D v2". At the end of the types add ",musicvideos".

That sounds like right way to do it. THANKS.

That did the trick!. Thanks

While I have you here, do you know proper syntax and location to add "clearart", "clearlogo" and "poster" in "nfo" files?. I read all kind of help regarding "nfo" file structure and still cannot get tis to work.

Agree. Check these pages https://kodi.wiki/view/NFO_files/Music_videos#top  and  https://kodi.wiki/view/NFO_files/Templat...o_Template

@Juan Mortyme Thank you for your help. Yes, I have seen both sites and they have a great amount of information. My specific issue is that I would like to specify in "nfo" files "clearlogo" and "cleartart" for Music Videos. So far I am not successful and whenever I do "refresh" I loose those two. I, then have to go back to "Information" --> Choose Art. Then again, might be that "clearart" and "clearlogo" are not supported in "nfo" files, I do not know.

UPDATE:
I think I have figured this out.

Notice "ART" section, that is where "fanart", "clearlogo", "poster" etc... have to be identified.

@latts9923 Would it be possible to turn off/on display of cases in "Information" screen for "Show Default Video Info" ?.

UPDATE #16 -This will update the skin to v1.1.7

Image Additions
  • I added View Type-28 to Music Videos. I also added the view to Forced Views. Thanks to andrzejls for the request!
  • I added the option to display either the default views list or a custom views list. The default list will display by default. There are two new buttons in the Top Menu under the selected view named "DEFAULT VIEWS LIST" and "CUSTOM VIEWS LIST". The default views are displayed by default. There is also a new file named Includes_views.xml.custom that you will need to customize to display only the views you'd like to see. View Type-02 is commented out in this file as an example. The file can be updated while Kodi is running. After making changes, you can switch to the default views list and back to the custom list to see the updated views list. Thanks to andrzejls for the request!

Image Bug fixes
  • The regular boxset in KodiFlix would persist when "CENTER LIST" and "EXTRA ZOOM FOCUS" were both enabled. Now when you enable "EXTRA ZOOM FOCUS" it will reset "MOVIE SET CASES" and vice versa. Thanks to MB1968 for reporting the bug!
  • I fixed a problem with DiaglogSeekbar.xml. Thanks for andrzejls for posting the fix!
  • I fixed a problem with the "UPDATE LIBRARY" button in the Top Menu for Music continuing to display "STOP SCANNING" after the update was complete. Thanks to Juan Mortyme for reporting the bug!

ImageMaintenance
  • I changed the Top Menu access to up instead of left for View Type-29. Thanks to andrzejls for the request!

*This update will require another skin reset for new settings to be forced to settings.xml. To keep from losing your current settings, make sure you export your skin settings (SKIN SETTINGS > RESTORE SETTINGS > EXPORT SKIN SETTINGS) before you install the update. After installing the update you will need to reset the skin and then import the latest settings export.

@latts9923 In VIEW-TYPE 29 (Movies) "posters" for individual movies have an outline/border around them. Posters for movie sets do not, could this be adjusted so "sets" posters have the outline/border?.

I never noticed that before...good catch. Fixed...open Variables.xml and find "GlobalCaseVarSpin". Change the image name for ListItem.IsCollection to set.png instead of p.png.

Thank you both for fixing the dialogseekbar.xml, i missed the bar a lot when playing movies.
