Kodi is only mentioned by Torrent Freak. In the 'real' news outlets Kodi wasn't mentioned once. (It was also only in local news, as far as I can tell, I tried finding news of it on national newspapers, but only found it on the local paper).

It's a big coincidence we got kicked from Amazon App store last week and today we officially published for Google Play Store (this one was planned).
Sure hope they will kick theirselves

A possible reaction could be: Make a blog post on kodi.tv and engage users to not buy Amazon hardware.

The decision looks even stranger when a certain Kodi spinoff that does contain copyright infringing addons is still in the Amazon Appstore!
