@rbej and @popcornmix, I'm using the above image and am noticing 1-2 seconds worth of delay on the audio. For instance, start any 'TED talks' session and you will notice the audio delay (notice sound compared to mouth movement).

Is this a known issue ? Are there any adjustment parameters available to the user ?

I'm on a vanilla 256m Rpi.

Indeed! I get ~4 MB/sec if not more. I run storage of a 1.8" HD though.

Not a known issue, although I did see live TV slightly off (300ms), so that may be the same problem.
Do you know the last build that was okay?

You can bring up OSD/audio and adjust the audio delay to fix it.

I've been a bit behind on testing new images, so the last "good" image with regard to this issue was Rbej's "Rbej_Gotham_17.06.2013.img".

Hope that helps. As noted 'TED Talks' (and I've tried half a dozen random sessions) all seem to note this issue.

I too get this problem with Rbej's latest image (Rbej_Gotham_20130630073300-r14131.img).

On my 256m RPI I'm using,

<network>
<alwaysforcebuffer>1</alwaysforcebuffer>
<cachemembuffersize>2621440</cachemembuffersize>
</network>

(2013-06-27, 19:17)Koloss Wrote: [ -> ]I add this:

<network>
<alwaysforcebuffer>1</alwaysforcebuffer>
<cachemembuffersize>5242880</cachemembuffersize>
</network>

All Videos say: cache is full
Yup, I too get this issue - no idea why...

Lastly, I can't seem to change the timezone from the GUI which has already been reported.

I get same on all my HD content
Using the SportsDevil add-on, can anyone explain or confirm the audio playback problems when watching Sky Sports or ESPN streams (eg. TV -> Cricfree.tv -> ESPN UK)?

The audio starts out OK, then starts to glitch after a few seconds (sync problem?) then turns into full-on robotic mode - all the while, video is fine. This doesn't happen with x86 kit, where both audio and video are fine, so I'm wondering if it's an omxplayer related issue (or maybe librtmp).

I've been having this problem for several weeks now, from 3.0.5 onwards (currently using latest git build from openelec-3.2 branch). Using a 512MB Pi with 128MB GPU mem.

- updated firmware (signal aspect ratio change in stream, allow the volume to go above 100%)

- updated new clock for OmxPlayer

http://www71.zippyshare.com/v/46312193/file.html

Hi, I'm using
OpenELEC-RPi.arm-devel-20130630073300-r14131

Is it still possible in this version to allow the volume to go above 100%? If so, how do you do it? Is the new XBMC volume maximum above 100%? Is it a command-line thing?
I dont know. You must ask Popcornmix.
rbej: Can you analyse the MKV starttimes problem?

The next Problem:
I have SAT-Receiver Dreambox records(TS-Files) and the starttimes are very slow!
Im not developer or programmer. Only person who may analyse this is Popcornmix. I only created custom builds. I may tested patches and fixed. Nothing more.

You need an advanced setting. See:
