You can try this it works for kodi v21 idk if it works for v22 nightly but you can try
I fixed by side loading inputstream.ffmpegdirect
se here.
https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...id=3169794

But I did not use filezilla...I forgot he password for the shh key..sand could not make connection.
Not to self..to make a note next time, and prepare filezilla right away

I used webOS Manager - it does not upload folders only files.

Created all the folders and upload the files correctly!
Under inputstream.ffmpegdirect\resources\language
I only made  \resource.language.en_us and uploaded one file.

It works perfect

Please include inputstream.ffmpegdirect on the next compile ;O)
Thank you for for good work

May I offer my help? A stupid guess would be that you just need to allow "DTS supported" selection within kodi, as the code is already there for many OS/devices. I can test as many builds as necessary, I can even setup a build environment if you deem it helpful.
@requa3r0 Already fixed and should become available once there's a new release of the addon
@Michelsup Sure you can try adding the DTS support but it's not as easy as just flipping one switch. You need to modify CAESinkStarfish and add DTS support there. Kodi shows the DTS section based on whether the sink supports it. It's probably not extremely difficult to implement if you have a test device. You just need to supply DTS, DTSX or DTSE depending on the codec, fill out some stuff in dtsInfo and then figure out the correct buffer sizes and timestamps

Build that successfully plays DV and HDR:

Thank you for sharing.

It's the best version for C9 to play DV.

From now C9 can play P7 dual-layer DV  x265 encoding MKV file which couldn't be playered by the previous verision ever.

But the P7 dual-layer DV HVEC encoding MKV file like playing a slideshow, but it's still an improvement over the previous version because I can see the images.

It's said that C9 is the last generation LG oled TV to support dual-layer Dolby Vision decoding.

Set “Dolby Vision compatib mode” on, that Mkv file can play smoothly。

But El layer DV will be lost。

Thank you very much for your insight here, and for your work in general.
Bloody hell I'm not into Kodi's development at all, so what you consider not "extremely difficult" will be for me like climbing Mount Everest in a wheelchair. But I guess someone have to try it, let be me.

I hope I did all the rest but, what do you mean by this part? I can't find it anywhere in the source code.
Hello, will there be an option added to the system/video Whitelist?
@Michelsup dtsInfo is similar to ac3PlusInfo except it doesn't have the immersive attribute

Thanks for info.

TV Live feed + audio now starts right away and at the same time, but time shift does not really work. It will crash the app / TV
Does WebOS actually have what it takes to run time-shift ?
I still experience severe video / audio offset almost all the time, and always on live TV feed.
Is this still an ongoing issue to be solved?
hi,
here is a new log for the dolby vision problem in my tv, only sound.
2 movies with dolby vision .
