2. Delete the /home/(USERNAME?)/.xbmc/addons/plugin.video.irishtv/ folder if its still there.
3. Re-install plugin.
4. Post the debug log for Mossy if the above doesn't work.
Did 1 - 3 with no success. Noticed the plugin is marked as broken in de official XBMC repo. I will try and do 4 when I can.
Hi Mossy,

I having issues getting anything working right now.

RTE can start playing correctly but after about 10 seconds it just exits back to the main menu. Here's the log for that http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=76438

Then there's the issue of AerTV. I can't get that to play at all, hangs XBMC at 35% loaded. Here's the log for that - http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=76434

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've read about the IP forwarding, could you possibly post a screenshot of what these settings should be.

Here are some screenshots of what mine looks like. BTW I am in Canada.

Any help greatly appreciated, I have quite a few friends here hoping that we get this working. Thanks so much for working on this plugin.

Also, I'm on a Mac Mini, running 10.8.5

Sorry, is available.
@collybob

Thanks for taking the time to post the logs.

The following is from your log of RTE live:

Quote:11:13:54 T:2957651968 ERROR: RTMP_HashSWF: couldn't open /Users/Mini/.swfinfo for writing, errno 13 (Permission denied)

Looks a file permission problem, in that the user running XBMC doesn't have permission to write or create the file /Users/Mini/.swfinfo.

The log for AerTV is very short and does not show any problems. It's better to start XBMC create the problem and then include the entire log.

IP forwarding should work with the settings you have, but
  • You obviously have a different problem with RTE
  • You may have a different problem with AerTV
  • You probably don't need IP forwarding for all services, you can turn it off for those services that work when it's off.

@dexter
The plugin is not marked as broken in the repository, but you may have a cached version of the plugin in your packages folder.

Try steps 1 & 2 again, then delete the following before reinstalling

/home/(USERNAME?)/.xbmc/addons/packages/plugin.video.irishtv*
/home/(USERNAME?)/.xbmc/addons/packages/repository.mossy* (this one may not exist)
I cleaned my cache and I now have 2.0.10 only installed. Problem persists. Here is my log. Help would be appreciated as this addon is great when working. https://www.dropbox.com/s/c7lmszyrrdiu7kf/xbmc.log

RTE player website works well so it is probably my setup.
Try version 2.0.11 instead.

See first post for where to download it from.
Will this be updated to work with Gotham?
Tried 2.0.10 on my laptop and it works. Must be my media PC so. I will have a look at the packages installed on the laptop and mimic this setup on the server.
Ok, got it working. Both 2.0.10. Here is what I did. I uninstalled a few plugins I wasn't using a lot. I then ran a backup with xbmc backup. I then nuked the .xbmc folder and restored the backup without the plugin data (configs, etc). Then reinstalled irish tv and it worked. Currently watching the RTE news for the first time in weeks. I use XBMC to watch freesat and used irish TV to watch AerTV so this plugin is huge for me.

Thank you, Mossy!

Where is your donate button? I would like to buy you a beer Smile
That last bit is not my signature, by the way.. I would like to buy you a drink! Smile
@Dexter1979

I've had a similar problem over this weekend to what you've described.

I'm using OpenELEC-XBMC on an RPi. The system info told me my /storage partition was full, so I went about increasing the partition size (see here http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewto...35&t=29674).

I also removed unnecessary addons and reinstalled IrishTV, but for me I think main issue was the /storage partition size restricting script actions from executing fully.

All the sources in IrishTV are back working again!
Currently having a problem on RPi openelec with AerTV. When selected I get (after a long long wait) "Unknown of Off Air" for all channels. The channels do work when selected however. Anybody else seeing this?
I'm also getting "Unknown of Off Air" for all channels in AerTV too, but the channels play. I't s just the now and next data that's missing.

Obviously AerTV have changed something.
Hey, I've got Frodo running on RPi, I can't seem to get AerTV to work at all. I've tried everything I've seen on this forum and everytime it freezes on 'Getting Now Playing date' at 35%. The On Demand players work and RTE One live, but that's it. Any suggestions please?
