I just saw an ad there for Harry Potter on Christmas Day. It said it would be on RTE One HD though! Apparently it launched on the 16th....Mossy you probably know what I'm going to ask next! Big Grin I checked AerTv and I don't think they have it yet..
@mattybai: Post a log (see first post) if you want me to have a look.

@Van: AerTV moved RTE 2HD from free to pay only not too long ago. I expect they'll want you to pay for RTE 1HD too when they get it.
Ahh yeah I forgot about that....
But now that I think of it weren't you asking for someone's "aertv plus" details so you could include support for the paid channels?
Hello,
I am new to this forum as I am new to XBMC, I am using the IRISH TV Add On on the XBMC but the TV3 Player wont work, it will load the programmes & tells you what times everything was on but it just wont play the video, there is a message that comes up when it loads to 50% 'One or more items failed to play. Check the log file for details'. Everything else (RTE, TG4 & Aer TV) works fine. Can someone please help.

Thanks in advance

I mean for legitimate AerTV Plus users.....I'd probably pay for two HD channels and the BBC stuff...
Hey I got an email yesterday from AerTV

Quote:Aertv Service Change Announcement – 2 January 2014

From today, mobile access to the Aertv service is part of our premium service. You can upgrade to Aertv Plus for €1.29 for the first month and €5.99 per month after that by clicking here. Customers who use laptops and PCs remain unaffected and will continue to be able to watch a limited number of channels for free.

To encourage our customers to sign up to Aertv Plus and continue using the mobile service, we are also offering the chance to Win €3,000 Cash – click here to sign up to Aertv Plus and enter the competition.

Aertv Plus gives you unlimited mobile access to 25 TV channels, less ads, unlimited streaming and HD quality streams. For more information on why we need to change, how we arrived at the decision and how it affects you, please check out our blog here.

Best wishes

The Aertv Team

I could sign up at the cheaper rate and give you (Mossy) my login details to help facilitate development of the plugin to support paid accounts? Hey just ignore this if I'm wasting your time! Big Grin
I'll work on getting the AerTV login working in the plugin. You might want to wait until I have that completed before pulling the trigger on the subscription.

@aimcn If you post a debug log I can have a look. See first post in this thread, for a debug log "howto" link.
Hello Mossy,

In the Netherlands we have a cablecompany called UPC it provides a service called Horizon.tv, you can watch tv online on the browser.
For more than a year we are trying to get it to work, but because of widevine drm we cannot get it to work on XBMC.

Could you check if you can do anything with it?
Bas of XOT tried to make a addon he could get al of the stream data but could not get past the widevine drm because xbmc cannot support it.
Then we tried it at FFmpeg but they don't have support for it yet.

XOT: http://code.google.com/p/xot-uzg/issues/detail?id=369
XBMC: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=141915
FFmpeg: https://trac.ffmpeg.org/ticket/1793

If you need any help then just let me know.

Best regards,

It's geo locked so you will need VPN/Proxy get around. Also be warned, a lot of the Pro12 games are on TG4 so commentary is in IrishBig Grin
