I made a new thread to discuss 1.0.0 so this thread can stay on topic for trakt utilities.

In fact, no addons should have popup messages while viewing video.

Any word on this? I was hoping to disable them too.
Hi

I am using the latest Frodo with trakt utilities 0.6.5 and now I am getting a service.py fail. It looks like it fails when it starts the tv show sync.

Anyone can assist?
I have a question, will this work if I'm syncing my library between several devices already? I installed it and set it up and it never pulled any information on the media that I have.
Anyone else have seen these errors?

That shouldn't matter, I have two HTPCs pointing at the same media with different libraries and it works fine.

Could you explain the intention of your addon? Reading the OP in the 1.0 thread it seem like its a fork of Trakt Utilities that only includes scrobbling - does this mean your trying to develop a more stable version of Trakt Utilities with scrobbling only? Or is Trakt Utilities no longer under active development so your starting a fresh?
A scrobble only was created so it could be added to the official eden add-on repository. Some functions of TU require API updates, but those won't be officially support until frodo (12.0), so the target for TU being in an official repo is for frodo.
Is there perhaps a simple (PHP/Ruby/Python) script that does syncing in Eden? Or an app? Because I have way too much content to manually sift through.

or does syncing already work in the nightlies with the pre-Frodo branch?
TU will still work in eden, you just have to install it manually. I am running TU for syncing (disable any scrobbling in the settings) and the trakt scrobbler to send everything I watch.

Doesn't work. Used git clone git://github.com/Manromen/script.traktutilities.git and restarted XBMC. It told me it successfully synced my movies. Which it didn't do, I checked. And when I tried to sync my episodes it crashed immediately. Disabled scrobling prior to this and didn't install the new trakt plugin. XBMC 11.0 - compiled march 24. Same behaviour as 0.6.5 from zip in other words.

I've got another one on some movies (dvd, m2ts) that the movie is too short. And it comes every x minutes while playing the movie.
Would be nice to get someone find the line that shows that popups that we can comment it out.
I've updated the addon to work with frodo and removed eden compatability (though it's in a really early stage at the moment, manual sync will work but don't have it do it automatically!) here's the source: https://github.com/seadog/script.traktut...ture/frodo feel free to submit bug reports etc. (I also have an advanced rating feature going on but that needs to be integrated before I release it (though if you're using eden and want it send me a PM and I'll send you the zip))

What would be the preferred behavior? I'm not sure if there's a case where the user would want to know that that's happened?
Can anyone offer any help? Was running 0.6.4 on Frodo / Raspbmc would all work fine apart from sync TV shows. Have since reinstalled raspbmc (due to another issue) and still have same issue with TU. Upgraded to 0.6.5 still failing. Debug @ http://pastebin.com/bpVN5zEm

Also tried version from https://github.com/Underyx/script.traktutilities - that is what the above debug is based on.

Cheers

Frodo removed the raw database access so there's no way they'll work on frodo (though the version I posted above your post should work on frodo, if it doesn't I'd love to see the log)
