I do have a question. ABC never listed episodes before and I saw this fix:

I replaced abc.py and enabled ABC RSS streaming and now I get a script error just trying to open ABC. This happens on my XBMC on my ATV2 and on my Windows PC. IS there something I overlooked? Thanks!

Have you got the most recent fix from the 16th?
it seems the fix that uses the ABC RSS feed isn't ideal as it's either the RSS feed isn't updated or we still have some code issues in the plugin. I haven't had a chance to dig in but I have the same problem - the latest episodes don't show in the ABC plugin for any shows i have checked.

Yes, I replaced the cbs.py with the new fix from the 16th and now when i click on a show eg big bang theory I get a script failed error. Maybe if someone can upload their freecable zip file with the update I can try that? Can't think what could be wrong...
Ps - funny thing is that cbs evening news works but nothing else...

Looks like it's the RSS feed. I've made some progress getting the episode list without using the RSS mode, but am still getting errors playing them at the moment.
I have been following this thread for the better part of month now. I love the Free Cable Add-on. I'd like to say thanks to BlueCop and those others that have made fixes and consolidated them. I am SO tempted to learn Python for this reason alone. Perhaps some day...
Between this add-on and the Amazon video issue I'm not feeling so happy about my video experiences these days. I am happy to try and help where I can though.

instead of /userdata look for addondata. there you will find the plugin.freecable/resources/lib
I tried to fix mine with the new files for PBS, ABC, and CBS but cannot open the .py files open to edit them. Tried copying and pasting files in their place with Microsoft Office Word Document files with the file names edited but it did not work. I guess this is over my head and Ill just live without em until someone comes up with an easier fix.

You should use a text editor, such as Notepad or
Notepad++.
