I'm using the default (PS3) user agent. I did try another win 7 pc, 32 bit, and the addon didn't work. So i'm not sure what's so special about the other one. I do have unblock-us spoofing my location, but that applies to all traffic from my house not just the 64 bit Win7 pc. So I'm still not sure why just the one PC works and everything else doesn't.

Live Games were working in Gotham Beta for me, but now that my OpenElec setup is running 13.0 I can't seem to stream live games anymore.
Archive/game resumes work fine.
running OpenELEC-4.0.1 (XBMC 13.1 beta1) on an Shuttle Intel Atom machine.

Yeah, forgot to mention that: the other stuff works fine, it's just that the live streams don't work.
In the Gotham beta it worked for me, too.
Same error message as the other guy that posted here.

today though, the given link with the parameters downloads the m3u8..

True, I didn't even test it today because I thought it wouldn't work. But it does! Very weird behaviour.

that's no wonder. Only the live games don't work anymore. Access to the key files is restricted for live games: simply setting the agent header field in the request doesn't cut it. Important cookie values are missing. It's the same with NBA league pass.

sounds about right... so what can we do to fix it? I'd really like to watch live games on my Openelec machine hooked to my TV from my couch rather than sitting at my desk...

till the ffmpeg hls implementation is improved one could always go the mlbhls route and use a dedicated tool for downloading the transport stream.

Maybe you quoted the wrong post? Yesterday the live games worked! Without any change, that's the weird thing
Edit: works for g2 of ny vs habs, too

My openelec updated to 4.0.2, and yes seems to be working!

Nothing weird there. The reason it worked again is 'cause they removed the restiction for these live games!
Maybe some official apps failed to work? Only a matter of time till they always activate the restricted access to the key files.
