I'm using parslej version with my imon ultrabay (LCD) and it works with Kodi 14 (not perfectly but it works).
But be aware that it seems to be some bug with the webserver service which may cause some random crashes (and XbmcOnImon needs webserver activated).

hi guys, asking again...
how do i make these icons work. I am sure if they exist, it should work. i have seen few screenshots here on the forum, with people using xbmc and these working as well.

Just upgraded, seems to work. no crashes yet.

Hello!

New user of KODI i'm trying to enable VFD of my Imon.

Install XBMX ON IMON and configure KODI.

I've got an error when trying to connect: cannot connect to XBMC at 127.0.0.1:8080.

I've tried to connect by iexplorer without problems, all is working directly by ie, where is the problem?
Why is there a port 8080 and tcp 9090? help needed

You need to enable "webserver" in Settings - Services - Webserver. Also make sure you set the correct port, username and password in XbmcOnImon too.

Hi!

finally with kodi and parslei - i had success, too.
An update from 12.3 to kodi worked, and display worked immeadi.... BUT running any kind of media brought me a crahs in the next 30 to 60 seconds. So i decided to reinstall, media worked fine, but display had problems.
I noticed: in the advancendsettings xml i had an error, which kodi does not like. XML error.
I needed to deactivate the firewall on the windows system.
I had to rename the device to XBMC (instead of kodi)
password etc. i do not use.
I installed the developerversion (including the libs) of the project (MS Visal C++)

hope this hint helps anybody who still has problems. At the moment i will not investigate further - because i it works and i do not have any kind of crashes Laugh

Has anyone got this working with Kodi 14.0 “Helix”, i had this working great with Gotham but the other week i upgraded by installing Helix over Gotham but had crashes so had to uninstall Kodi and do a fresh install but since then i can't get it to work.

I use Imon-on-xbmc-by-Parslej and set the same settings that there was before the upgrade to Kodi but no go.

Check Webserver service settings (e.g Username and Password) in Kodi and make sure you are using the same settings in XbmcOnImon.
