You can also use scan-s2 by the following;

hg clone http://mercurial.intuxication.org/hg/scan-s2
cd scan-s2
make
make install

Then run scan-s2 with the arguments required (-h will probably give you a list) but it's something like -o vdr /dvb-s/Astra28.2 > channels.conf

error scan-s2 requires Linux DVB driver API version 5.0!

im from dvb card technotrend s2 3200

Have you compiled updated Linux DVB driver from the liplianin repo ?
Afaik you will need those to get the S2-3200 working..

Coming from the broadcast channel is currently only installed how I do not know where addresses are required, please help

ln -s s2-liplianin s2 [the scan-s2 and szap-s2 Makefiles expect this]
cd s2-liplianin
make
sudo make install
sudo reboot

There are currently broadcast rtl I'm watching the channel scan can 'ASTRA 19.2 problem

Or you can download vdr settings (channel list) updated daily. It's saves allot of time specially if you own Tevii cards.

Is it possible to install plugins that is not available in the ppa?
For instance I am interested in trying the plugin vdradmin-am.
