Having problems with the librtmp in Android.
Trying to replace librtmp.so in the lib folder.
Have tried this path /sdcard/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/userdata/library
I was expecting to see a librtmp.so to replace but there is no such file.
Am I in the right place.
Minix 4.4.2 rooted

Can anyone provide a link to the latest macos librtmp? The repo on http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Update_librtmp seems to have nothing for macos for the latest patches. I'm using yosemite and would like the latest patches if possible.

If there's nothing precompiled I'd really appreciate if someone could compile it for me.

All well, using X-plore but had not set it for root using superuser.
The new version 5.0.1 OpenELEC in raspberry Pi B, does not the LIBRTMP, if I downgrade to 5.0.0 works again. What could be the problem?
Hello can someone please help. I have 2 android devices both running kodi and I have successfully replaced the LIBRTMP.SO file on both, and all streams are working great. However after a couple of days a lot of streams stop working. On further investigation I have noticed that the LIBRTMP.SO files have reverted back to the old ones (I know this because the original file is 1.17mb and the new one is 1.45mb). Can anyone please advise on why this is happening and also how to prevent it. As always thanks in advance for any replys/help given.
Could someone please share updated librtmp file for Apple TV2?

Thanks in advance.

I have just replaced librtmp.so in my Minix and noted this from the instructions.
"NOTE:if u update the file then don't reboot the phone bcoz after every reboot xbmc revert back to the defoult librtmp.so file, so if you reboot the phone then you have to update again Thanks"
I was confused on what this meant. As I have recently updated the firmware I assume that I will have to replace the librtmp.so.
This will not be a problem, but if I have to replace it every time the box is rebooted (ie power failures) then it will be.

Thanks mate, bit of a pain in the arse having to replace it every time you reboot though...
I thought this was understood but perhaps you are doing it first time. Every reboot android replace the missing/changes binary files and get it back from apk.
This is why many people asking for apk.
I have check with TVMC and waiting for their response.

This librtmp is more recent but still not working with those servers.
